BEST LAKE HOUSE ON PAUGUS BAY!
"We have been coming to the Lake Winnipesaukee area for may years. We have never found a lake house that checked all our boxes! Until this year! Bob and Donna's lake house was so comfortable for our family. The view is fabulous. We loved that it had a level yard and grass to play games. The way the house faces is perfect, sun when you want it and shade when you don't! Crystal clean water and the water trampoline was an added bonus for all. Other than the kitchen being dated and the carpet in the bedrooms (carpet was clean I just don't like carpet!) the house was perfect! Very spacious living area and dining area and the most comfortable beds we ever slept on! The cottage was a bonus for my grown children and the outdoor shower was refreshing. The kids loved the ping pong table and had a great time hanging out in the evenings around the fire pit. Bob and Donna were very accommodating and we hope to get the chance to return next summer!!"

"We spent a wonderful long weekend family gathering and had a great time. The Lake is beautiful, the house was exactly as described, clean, comfy and everything we could possibly need. Debbie and Mark were great hosts. They met us upon arrival, gave us a tour, and let us know that they were available if we needed anything; then they left us to enjoy ourselves in beautiful Camp Westwood. We had fun with the paddleboat, the rowboat, and the fishing poles- Mark even stopped by and gave us some helpful tips that resulted in catching quite a few fish right off the end of the dock! We had cookouts and enjoyed watching a mama duck with her nine ducklings. We were never at a loss for entertainment..... I would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to stay on the Lake in a place with some history and personality and have a classic New Hampshire Lake experience!"

"We spent 4 days at this house on gorgeous Lake Winnisquam and everything was great. A perfect location. We were able to quickly get supplies down the street at the local market and deli. We were able to rent a pontoon boat for a couple days and park it right at the house on the dock! So convenient. The house was clean and provided great views of the lake, as advertised. Catherine was super attentive and answered ALL of my many questions almost immediately. The entire rental process was a breeze."

"I couldn’t say enough great things about this property. I made the unfortunate mistake of booking the same week as the Laconia Motorcycle week, but since the property contained everything that we needed, we didn’t have to battle the crowds in town for entertainment! The kids were able to fish w/o an Out of State fishing license, but the adults got theirs to that they could fish off the private dock, too. It was so nice to have everyone in the same area but also participating in different activities. The back of the house is set up in tiers so people on the top deck were able to yell down to the people on the dock if needed. The boats were regularly used for fishing as well as a relaxing paddle out into the cove. Once you go through the culvert pipe to Paugus Bay, the water was a bit more choppy, so it made it hard to paddle. We were able to see the train go by a few times, but since they weren’t on a regular schedule due to Motorcycle Week, we were unable to ride it. The kitchen had everything we needed, the dining table and bar counter fit 8 adults and 3 children perfectly. We ate together for every dinner that entire week. It was wonderful. The property owners were extremely accessible and friendly as well as professional and knowledgeable. The house sits at the end of a sort of hollow, so you don’t have the constant back-and-forth traffic that you may have at other properties. The laundry was a nice added feature since we decided to pack light on the clothes. We were able to re-use the same articles of clothing over and over as well as drying out bathing suits/beach towels before packing them up to come home. We experienced one rainy day but were kept entertained with all the Wii games and movies that came with the downstairs rec room. The one funky thing that we never got a hold of were which of the house’s switches went with which lights. Needless to say, there were some lightshows going on before bed each night as we tried to turn everything off J
We would love to come back as our family from Arizona was able to fly into Boston and take the short 2 hour drive into the property as well as it being within driving distance for all of us coming from Ohio .
Unforgettable memories had by all ages!! Thank you for lending us your home for that time, Allison and Robb, and have a great summer!"
