  • Rustic Retreat

"Our vacation at Lee's Pond was everything we had hoped it would be and more. Relaxing on the deck overlooking the pond, one experiences an endless display of beauty and serenity with the light constantly changing, loons calling out from across the way, and herons diving for fish. With no motor boats allowed, this serenity is uninterrupted. As described, the cabin has basic necessities and worked well for just the two of us. While tucked away on a back road, one is only ten minutes from good restaurants, grocery stores and a farmer's market. We enjoyed several meals right at the cottage with our "catch of the day." The owners provide excellent communication about both the cottage and the area and make sure the cottage is clean with fresh towels and linens provided. We very much look forward to returning."

  • Quaint, quiet, relaxing vacation spot

"Good sized roomy cottage with great cell service, free wifi and local use of a telephone. Lots of fresh blueberries (called whortleberries) were available for picking. Ducks and loons all around. Quiet enough to hear the loon calls morning and night. Spectacular views of mountain, islands and lake area. Dock that has protective rubber to protect your boat. Nature walks around the house showcased coral sticks and indian pipe plants which are usually seen only in natural settings. Safe place for kids, adults and/or families with games, puzzles and loads of VCR and DVDs for rainy days. We enjoyed our entire week!"

  • Another great time at this cabin

"This is our second stay at this cabin. Ingrid and Mike are great people and very nice. The cabin is nicer than in photos. Mostly everything is in the kitchen for cooking or grilling so you can enjoy a dinner on the deck. If you need something Ingrid will help you also. This is truly a very classy cabin. If you want an all modern place you may not like this but if you want a "cabin" this is top notch. I look at the outside photo and wonder how the open area inside fits. I will stay here for any NH vacation and will return here."

  • A Relaxing Family Vacation

"We enjoyed our week in this quaint cabin on Lake Ossipee. The cottage was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. We have stayed in many cottages over the years and this one had a great variety of dishes and pots and pans. We cook almost all of our meals while we are at the lake and besides some counter space there was nothing lacking. We had brought a small folding table which came in handy for extra space. The stairs up to the two upstairs bedrooms are steep but were okay for one week. The water pressure in the shower was good and there was plenty of hot water. All in all a great week - lots of private beachfront, a nice dock for our rental boat, good location in a cove close to shopping and a quiet road to take walks on along the lake. The owners were there to greet us both upon arrival and departure and were friendly and helpful."
