"Our vacation was wonderful and mainly due to the accommodations. Prior to our vacation the owners was so helpful and responded to questions immediately. We knew exactly what to bring, which wasn't much because everything is there except the lining and towels. The home is huge for a lake rental and although we had 2 days of rain there was plenty of space and lots to do for everyone from the toddlers to the grandparents. The game room is great!
The beach is clean and sort of blocked from the neighbors which makes it seem very private and there was not a lot of traffic in the lake which was nice for paddling around. Fishing was excellent.
We saw plenty of wildlife, but nothing that had me concerned about the little ones playing outside. In fact they were very excited to see some deer through the windows on one of our rainy days.
Clean, bright, and large enough for our crew of 14. I am already booked for next year!"

"My family and I stayed at Stillwater Cottage and had a wonderful time. The house was perfect for our needs - we have two young children (8 and 5) - and fully comfortable. Full kitchen (we cooked most of our meals), grill, screened-in porch, comfortable furniture and beds - it was honestly like home in a different location. We didn't feel the need to drive very far, because most of the activities we wanted to do were nearby. We fished off the dock - kids caught their first fish! - kayaked, and swam. We lit a fire and ate smores. We picked blueberries. We didn't feel rushed because everything we wanted to do was pretty close - we went as far as Moultonborough to see the Loon Preservation Committee Museum, but could have gone further had we not been satisfied with swimming and kayaking. The Squam Lakes Science Center, only a few minutes away, is a awesome - even for adults! Great house for families with young children!"

"This place is what you imagine when you think of a lakeside retreat: a winding dirt road through the woods, a homey wood cabin with history in the walls, the sounds of the waves lapping on the shore outside your door. The owners were very accomodating about squeezing us in as a last minute replacement for a cancellation, and very friendly and helpful in our communications throughout. (Though they're so well-versed in renting this out, that there really isn't much need to get in touch once you're there.) You're well out of the way, but it's just a ten minute drive back to the heart of Wolfeboro village. There's a private, sandy crescent beach, with a wade out through a sandy cove, and water clear to the bottom even as you swim out to the platform. You're tucked in a nook midway up the eastern shore of the lake, with sun all afternoon and fantastic sunsets over the water. The kitchen is well supplied, and we cooked lunch and dinner on the grill almost every day. The family history is evident all around inside, with old pictures of the construction, knickknacks, driftwood discoveries and more peppered throughout the house; but you don't feel like an intruder, you feel like a welcome guest."

"We own a timeshare and travel to different destinations each year, but we thought we'd try something different in our own backyard of New Hampshire. So glad we did! The house is more than accommodating, from the deck over the boathouse which offered stunning views of the lake, large kitchen, living and sleeping quarters - we were more than pleased. If you want to escape life's challenges and free your mind of noise, this island retreat is a must. We had family join us for a few days and they also felt the same about this property, and none of them wanted to leave! Morning coffee and star viewing on the deck is unmatched anywhere. From day one till we left the same comments were said each day - this is absolutely amazing, wow, unreal, and so on. This will go down as a hassle free vacation, from obtaining the property with simple paper work to where to go and the what to do's - this was quit a relief from your typical vacation planning."
