"Our tribe has had family reunions for over 20 years around the country. All agreed this was our best location and accommodations by far. Thank you."

  • Granite Stater

"This cottage lives us to the photos- beautiful setting, great frontage, quiet and private. It is very well-maintained with beautiful decor. The rooms are large and comfortable. The owner was very accomodating and great to work with. Meredith, NH is a wonderful Lakes Region town with restaurants, shopping, outdoor activities nearby. The cottage has a wonderful deck with the water's edge only a few steps away. I would definitely recommend this property to a friend or relative."

  • Two weeks Summer vacation

"My wife, two sons and I had a wonderful, relaxing two week stay at Lapping Waters. The location is perfect and the house was very comfortable. Plenty of room for guests. Quiet and private, and the beach was just right to help cool down during the heat of the day. Fishing from the dock, and a boat trip to Wolfeboro for ice cream. It was a great stay. Great spot for families. The owner was a pleasure to deal with"

  • One of the best rentals we had

"We have been renting for at least 7 years twice a year in different places. This is one of the best one and affordable one. Three nice size bedrooms, cozy living room space and, important for us, large kitchen. Loved dinning room table with two long benches. Kids loved bunkbeds. Walking distance to the lovely beach. Unfortunately we did not have enough time to enjoy it - so much to do in the area that we have our days filled with mountain activities. Would definitely stayed longed just to enjoy the beach and the lake. There is a outdoor chimney that we used every day. Even decided to get one us here at home. Easy access to main roads and large supermarket only about 5 min away drive. House looks small from the front ( and on the picture above ) but it's very roomy inside. NO WIFI. I did not inquire about it since I assume everyone has it. We usually work on vacation , or at least stay connected to work. Thankfully we bring our own WIFI ( HotSpot)."

Lake Winnipesaukee Travel Tips

Choose Lake Winnipesaukee Rentals and Experience New Hampshire’s Lake Region

Visit the New Hampshire Lake Region this year for a special stay in Lake Winnipesaukee rentals. Several local islands, festivals, and attractions offer the entire family something to do at all hours when they tire of relaxing on the water.

Enjoy the Seclusion of Lake Winnipesaukee Rentals

Many islands dot the landscape of the lake, and Lake Winnipesaukee vacation rentals are typically located on the shores of one of them. Far away but just close enough to civilization, you can enjoy a quiet picnic and sunset with your loved ones or turn your stay in New Hampshire lake homes into a romantic trip for two.

Visit the Castle in the Clouds near Lake Winnipesaukee Vacation Rentals

Imagine living for a day on a 6,300-acre estate found along the same shore as many Lake Winnipesaukee rentals. Named "Lucknow," the estate includes woodlands and pasture, as well as miles and miles of trails and private roads. Like many Lake Winnipesaukee vacation rentals, this home was built in the early 20th century. The design was the vision of Thomas Plant, an industrialist from that time.

Surrounding gardens and stables are kept by full-time staff, and tour guides will be glad to show you the bedroom where President Theodore Roosevelt once slept. This castle will surely be one of the highlights you experience during your stay in New Hampshire lake homes.

Bikers Enjoy a Stay in New Hampshire Lake Homes

Every summer, the annual Motorcycle Weekend brings bikers from near and far to Lake Winnipesaukee rentals. Group rides, contests and other special events become quite a sight to visitors of Lake Winnipesaukee vacation rentals during this time. Parades and races fill the weekend, and the locals accommodate the crowds by prohibiting vehicles with four wheels on the roads. Many who attend the festivities either camp at a local park or reserve New Hampshire lake homes.
