  • Pictures do not do it justice. A real gem

"House is bigger than pictures depict. Two full baths, large kitchen and great owners. We have rented three straight years and cannot wait to go back again next summer. You will not be disappointed. Good price too."

  • A lovely getaway

"My husband and I enjoyed a lovely week on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee. There could not be nicer and more welcoming hosts/owners than Bryan and his family. Though they are right next door, ( and you share a dock) they kindly gave us privacy. The house is very tidy and well cared for. It's slightly quirky with a kitchen and living/sleeping space on both levels. Ideal for a family with teenagers. Because it was just the two of us we stayed mainly on the first level where the view is quite nice! At times, the space felt a bit tight and we may have preferred more space. The town of Meredith is worth exploring and so nice to be able to walk from Bryan's place. For some reason the coin operated laundry bugged me but I know it wouldn't bother everyone. What it lacked in charm it made up for in hosts and a beautiful view and easy water access."

  • Fantastic

"We spent a wonderful week in this beautiful home. The photos represented the property. Some of our favorite things - large, well equipped kitchen, big, sunny family room, and downstairs pool table/bunk bed area for the teenagers. The lake is crystal clear and on the shallow side so it is safe for kids and amazingly warm. We used the kayaks every day. We also loved the location - about 30 minutes to either Wolfeboro or Gilmanton. The Shaker Village is nearby as well. Dick was a great communicator and a pleasure do deal with. We highly recommend this property!!"

  • Great vacation home!

"My family, and extended family rented this home in mid-summer. It is definitely not a cottage. The home was lovely and well decorated - the bathrooms felt like you were staying at a 5-star resort. Everything was there for us - from big fluffy towels, board games for the family, life jackets, and it did not lack for anything in the kitchen. We rented a pontoon boat, and it was extremely easy to park it in this quiet cove. The kids ( and adults) loved the water trampoline and kayaks. The decks overlooking the lake were used from early morning to late at night - they were well protected so when the sun was shining, it was very warm despite the cooler morning temperatures. Brian was well prepared for guests. Every switch in the house was labeled - no guessing involved and the book of local activities was very helpful. The one cooler day during the week, we headed to Gunstock for activities for the kids. Wish we had made reservations for the zipline - it was booked for hours. Next time! Hoping to get the family back next year - and we have requests from other family members who want to join us as they saw our pictures and heard our stories!"

Many islands dot the landscape of the lake, and Lake Winnipesaukee vacation rentals are typically located on the shores of one of them. Visit the Castle in the Clouds near Lake Winnipesaukee Vacation Rentals

Imagine living for a day on a 6,300-acre estate found along the same shore as many Lake Winnipesaukee rentals. Named "Lucknow," the estate includes woodlands and pasture, as well as miles and miles of trails and private roads. Like many Lake Winnipesaukee vacation rentals, this home was built in the early 20th century. The design was the vision of Thomas Plant, an industrialist from that time.

Surrounding gardens and stables are kept by full-time staff, and tour guides will be glad to show you the bedroom where President Theodore Roosevelt once slept. This castle will surely be one of the highlights you experience during your stay in New Hampshire lake homes.

Bikers Enjoy a Stay in New Hampshire Lake Homes

Every summer, the annual Motorcycle Weekend brings bikers from near and far to Lake Winnipesaukee rentals. Group rides, contests and other special events become quite a sight to visitors of Lake Winnipesaukee vacation rentals during this time. Many who attend the festivities either camp at a local park or reserve New Hampshire lake homes.
