We had a great week at Museum Lodges. It was a good mix of privacy and friendly people.
Very kid friendly and the cottage was clean and comfortable.
We appreciated the ceiling fans for comfortable sleeping. The loons wooed us to sleep every night. The beach was clean and safe for younger swimmers, but safe diving off the end of the dock.
Loved the Libbey Museum nearby, Bailey's Bubbles for Ice Cream, and the convenience of a full grocery store just two miles away. Had a great meal at Morrissey's Front Porch.
Overall very pleased, and Tom was very helpful with any questions."

"Yes, many wonderful memories were made when my husband and I stayed with our three sons and their families (4 grandchildren under the age of three). The home was beyond our expectation; clean, open and spacious. Words cannot begin to describe the beautiful, private, dead end location, the sandy beach and crystal clear water was enjoyed by all the family members. Panoramic views from the deck and beach of the lake. The fully equipped kitchen came in handy as we all took turns creating wonderful meals for the family! The dock was perfect for our boat and jet ski. Oh yes, the camp fires on the beach..Heavenly! Dave was a pleasure to deal with, and we all want to thank him for allowing us to have these happy memories of his beautiful home! We certainly would come and vacation here again."

"We spent a wonderful week in this beautiful home. The photos represented the property. Some of our favorite things - large, well equipped kitchen, big, sunny family room, and downstairs pool table/bunk bed area for the teenagers. The lake is crystal clear and on the shallow side so it is safe for kids and amazingly warm. We used the kayaks every day. We also loved the location - about 30 minutes to either Wolfeboro or Gilmanton. The Shaker Village is nearby as well. Dick was a great communicator and a pleasure do deal with. We highly recommend this property!!"

"My family, and extended family rented this home in mid-summer. It is definitely not a cottage. The home was lovely and well decorated - the bathrooms felt like you were staying at a 5-star resort. Everything was there for us - from big fluffy towels, board games for the family, life jackets, and it did not lack for anything in the kitchen.
We rented a pontoon boat, and it was extremely easy to park it in this quiet cove. The kids ( and adults) loved the water trampoline and kayaks. The decks overlooking the lake were used from early morning to late at night - they were well protected so when the sun was shining, it was very warm despite the cooler morning temperatures.
Brian was well prepared for guests. Every switch in the house was labeled - no guessing involved and the book of local activities was very helpful. The one cooler day during the week, we headed to Gunstock for activities for the kids. Wish we had made reservations for the zipline - it was booked for hours. Next time!
Hoping to get the family back next year - and we have requests from other family members who want to join us as they saw our pictures and heard our stories!"
