"A group of 10 former Peace Corps volunteers from around the country gathered in Winter Harbor for a week long reunion. The house was just the perfect place to spend time reminiscing, relaxing and sightseeing. The views from the large deck are spectacular and hanging out on the dock made for a relaxing afternoons. The location is great, with easy access to Wolfeboro, the villages around Lake Winnepasaukee and the White Mountains. The house has plenty of room for ten or more and has a wonderful New England lake house feel to it. The kitchen was stocked with every imaginable utensil and then more. There's a great fireplace to keep the chill off in the very large living room. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable with great views of the lake. Overall, it more than met out needs and expectations and I feel comfortable in recommending it as a place to stay."

"3 friends and I rented this charming little house for 5 days this past Oct. We came to see the fall color change and were not disappointed. Great location. Very private feel but not too far from the town of Meredith with shops and restaurants and grocery. House is very accommodating. Took a little while to get used to using bottled water for cooking/washing food, but all in all it was very relaxing and charming. We really enjoyed our wine and cheese afternoons on the patio overlooking the lake with gorgeous sunsets. We even got out on the kayaks one day. Great 'home base" for our trips apple picking, wine tasting, touring Castle in the Clouds, cruising the lake on the Mt. Washington. We cooked a lot in the well equipped kitchen and enjoyed feeling "at home" over our dinners, winding down from our days adventures. Great local produce from various farm stands. Owner, Sue, was a joy to work with - very prompt responses to any inquiries and helpful with tips on local info. Also provided linens for us "out of towners" for a nominal charge. Had a WONDERFUL time."

"This stunning and beautiful home is tucked away in a private and quiet cove on the lake. Early morning may be the most beautiful time as it is so quiet except for the call of the loons swimming just off the edge of the dock. This home is almost brand new with everything in excellent condition. It is clear the owner takes exceptional care of this property. The kitchen contains all premium appliances with loads of counter space and a large and beautifully crafted island. Our family enjoyed many fun dinners around the large kitchen table and the large screened in porch was a great place for afternoon naps. The property has complete privacy with plenty of open and well maintained lawn space for our annual family whiffle ball game. The floor plan is truly one of the best we have seen, having rented many similar properties, and the big bonus is the finished lower level (with walk out access to the backyard) where our kids had plenty of room and privacy. With a nice beach area, dock, and raft, the waterfront area of this property has it all. The owner has been very easy to work with and highly responsive when we need help or have questions. Thank you so much. We hope to return for many more summers!"

"We spent a wonderful week in this beautiful home. The photos represented the property. Some of our favorite things - large, well equipped kitchen, big, sunny family room, and downstairs pool table/bunk bed area for the teenagers. The lake is crystal clear and on the shallow side so it is safe for kids and amazingly warm. We used the kayaks every day. We also loved the location - about 30 minutes to either Wolfeboro or Gilmanton. The Shaker Village is nearby as well. Dick was a great communicator and a pleasure do deal with. We highly recommend this property!!"
