  • The views are great

"The cabin is nicer than pictured. My photos made it look even better. The owners are honest and nice people and will help you any way possible. The cabin has mostly everything you need so packing is easy. You cant beat the lake view with mountains in the background. I plan to return to this cabin if we have another NH vacation. Very peaceful and relaxing."

  • A great vacation!

"Our family of four, including my mother-in-law, stayed at this house for a week in July and had a great time. Before we rented, the owners were great at answering questions and were very responsive. It's a very short walk to Newfound Lake and similar to another posting there is a slight decline/hill getting to and from the beach area. Both my children loved to "race" us each way. Needless to say they won! We watched several people bring their vehicles to the beach area to drop-off and pickup with ease. The outside shower at the house is nice to wash all the sand off. The house is even better than the pictures. It's well laid out and the house has everything you could possibly need, especially in the kitchen! Even though there is a table in the kitchen, we enjoyed eating dinner at the table that's in the three season porch each night and my children loved having breakfast there in the morning. So peaceful and relaxing! Their flower garden is wonderful and my children and mother-in-law enjoyed trying to identify the various flowers. You can do as little or as much as you want in the area. We headed out each day for excursions from Laconia to Jefferson and everywhere in between and it was nice to come back to a place where we could kick-back and relax."

  • A perfect vacation!

"Having the house so close to the lake made it very easy to stay there with kids. We didn't have to carry a bunch of things down, and we could run right back up to the house if we needed anything. The deck is beautiful, as is the screened in porch. We loved staying there, and we will definitely be back again!!"

  • Winter Fun

"We had so much fun staying at the log cabin this February. There was 10 of us and my two miniature dachshunds. The log cabin was beautifully decorated, very comfortable and plenty of room for everyone to spread out. We took the kids snowboarding/skiing at Cranmore Mt. in Conway NH which was about an hour away, but a good Mt. for their level of expertise. After our time at Cranmore, we decided to enjoy a meal at Buckey's on Rte.109 about 5 min. from the cabin. The restaurant was a cute place with a pool table in the back and had a lot of options for an enjoyable casual dining experience. The following day we went to the sledding hill which is located across from the clubhouse up the main road of the development. The kids had a blast sledding down this good sized hill, and my sisters and I even took a turn on the sleds we brought. My nephew and sister had shoveled their way to the fire pit in the back yard of the cabin using the kids shovels that were available to use at the cabin (a real shovel or two would have been better to have). It was great to have a nice warm fire pit going for the kids to enjoy some S'mores after sledding. The owners were great to work with and very accommodating. Overall, we had a great time staying here and we would definitely rent this log cabin from them again."
