  • Beautiful location and charming cabin

"My kids and I loved staying at Spindle Point. The property itself was ideal in that it felt completely isolated and had gorgeous views of the lake. The area offered tons of fun summertime activities for the kids. If you're like me and prefer a 60s style cabin to a modern house when hitting the lake, then you can't go wrong at this place."

  • Perfect!

"We just returned home from our wonderful one week family vacation at Camp Westwood. As I sit here and look at the house I wish that I was still laying on the deck...sigh.To be honest,I was a bit concerned about our privacy with the owners carriage house so close to ours but Mark and Debbie were so nice and were never intrusive at all during our stay. The house was just exactly what we hoped it would be! It was large enough to accommodate all ten of us comfortably, clean, well stocked and we even loved the creeky floors in the upstairs...just charming! Our four Grandchildren loved the sandy bottom and shallow water to play and snorkel. Our ten year old Grandson told us that it was the best vacation that he's ever had..better than our Disney trip! haha Big thanks again to Mark and Debbie for allowing us to share their beautiful family lakefront home and for being so nice.We hope to perhaps come back again in a few years if you'll have us! • What a great place!!!

"We stayed for the second week of July, what a great place! The views from the house are incredible, lake view from each room. The house was very comfortable, the comfy chair in the living room, and the large bed in the master bedroom, both overlooking the water will not be soon forgotten! My young adult children, and my parents found the place amazing and totally enjoyed themselves. We enjoyed grilling on the deck, and feeding the fish also from the deck! There was plenty of room in the yard, we enjoyed outdoor activities, having campfire, swimming with dock, running small dog in the yard(who also enjoyed his stay). I really can not say enough, about how much we enjoyed our stay, I highly recommend it! The house was also very clean, and up to date. I liked being able to meet and talk with the owner, she was very helpful and nice! Have fun and enjoy yourself, I know we did!"

  • The perfect retreat

"My husband and I spent a week at this very peaceful cottage. It is on shared property but found the owners to be friendly and helpful. They were not at all intrusive. The cottage is very rustic and compliments the simplicity of the area. We loved waking up with a beautiful view of the lake, having coffee on the porch and spending the day on the boat in an absolutely beautiful lake. I would highly recomend this well maintained, relaxing cottage. We plan to return next year."

Merrymeeting Lake Travel Tips

Soak in the Beauty of the Water in Merrymeeting Lake Vacation Rentals

Enjoy old-world charm mixed with modern conveniences when you stay in Merrymeeting Lake vacation rentals. The 1980s brought a big boom of house-building, which made the area the popular recreational area it is today. Some vacation rentals, however, were here before the boom and still hold that old-style charm and history. When you stay in the enchanting Merrymeeting Lake vacation rentals on the south side of the lake, you are treated to panoramic views of the lake and the surrounding mountains. Sit out on the dock, dangle your toes in the water, and watch the sunrise. Or face the other direction on the same dock and enjoy an exquisite sunset.

Use Your Merrymeeting Lake Lodging for Affordable Vacations

Staying in a hotel can put a big strain on your budget, but Merrymeeting Lake lodging might fix that dilemma. Save on dining expenses by cooking meals in your own kitchen, and rent a house for a week or more for a price that is often less than a small hotel room. With multiple bedrooms, Merrymeeting Lake lodging is a great way to share expenses by having friends travel with you, splitting the costs.

Experience the Outdoors in New Hampshire Lakes Vacation Homes

If you've ever wanted to spend a vacation golfing, swimming, windsurfing, mountain biking, and hiking, then the New Hampshire Lakes vacation homes are the perfect place for you. The lake, which runs around 122-feet deep, is perfect for fishing and other water sports. There is something for everyone to enjoy throughout the year. Visit some local museums or go sledding and tubing before heading back to the house to sip hot chocolate in front of the fireplace. If you are interested in antiquing and shopping, just head into the nearby town.
