"My family of 6 + 1 toddler + 1 beagle had an amazing stay at the Keatings house. We couldnt have asked for better place to stay, it had a perfect treehouse with full and twin bunk, separate outdoor shower and bathroom. The main house is beautiful woodwork construction with bedrooms in back. The house is very comfortable, the outside kitchen is perfect all week to grill out. The land around the house consists of basically the whole south side of the island! its amazing to walk down the groomed paths to each side of the island with multiple areas to get into water. My beagle loved running around sniffing all over. It was an great place to be! Id say only drawbacks is there is no sandy area for toddler (i was ok as adult) and the water does whip up at times with the wind pushing from east. If you are looking for private island getaway and enjoy the peace and quiet this is the place."

"My family wanted to find a place to celebrate several occasions for a week! The pictures we saw of this house didn't really do it justice! It was more beautiful and spacious than the photos! From the moment we entered it felt like home! Breathtaking views of the lake! Being able to walk to the gorgeous beach was incredible! We actually ate more at the house than in restaurants!! Both patios were spacious and the views amazing! Our family has bonded in a different way and we have memories that will last forever! We will be back!!"

"We had a fantastic week at this cottage - both when the weather was sunny and rainy. It was well provisioned - had everything we needed to enjoy a quiet week and the owners were friendly and welcoming. The dogs LOVED the yard and the peninsula (so did our 11-yr old son, and our nephews when they visited for a day), and we enjoyed everything about the place. Coffee in the morning on the peninsula, using our paddleboard and inflatable kayak off the dock, reading and cards inside on rainy days, walking down to the general store for ice cream, smores around the firepit at night. The local general store is friendly and has everything you could ask for in terms of provisions, and when you don't want to cook, the Poor People's Pub is walkable and yummy for good food. The lake was quiet and beautiful - we saw and heard lots of loons, and enjoyed checking out a pair of bald eagles who spent a lot of time on the lake - we saw them a lot paddleboarding, and even got to see the female swoop down and grab a fish within about 50 feet of us one day. Couldn't have asked for a better week and lovely place to stay. We look forward to our stay next summer!"

"Stayed at Sue's property with my wife and little one for the first week of September - what a fantastic spot! The house is in a private cove, so away from the "noise", and facing the perfect direction so you get nice, cool mornings without the sun blinding you, but then get to enjoy the sun setting in the west. Spent several evenings out on the deck enjoying a drink - our little one (18 months) enjoyed playing in the yard, on the little beach, and watching the ducks swim past. Location is absolutely perfect - five minutes from Meredith's great restaurants and the grocery store, and 5 minutes in the other direction is one of our favourite spots, Moulton Farm (try the corn, it's life-changing!) Also a short drive from Funspot, Weirs Beach, the Tilton Outlets, etc. My family has been coming up to NH and the lakes area for years, and it's places like this that make us keep coming back! Can't thank Sue enough for her hospitality, and similarly can't recommend this place enough! The pictures really don't do it justice! Oh, I almost forgot the best parts - the outdoor shower and floating picnic table! What a treat! We will absolutely be back!"
