"We truly enjoyed our stay at the Bluffs - plenty of room for all of us, really nice beach area that is well maintained by the homeowners association only 1/2 mile away with a golf cart to get us there. Everything was as advertised. The owners were especially attentive and genuinely cared that we enjoyed their property. Morning coffee on the deck watching the sun come up was truly wonderful!"

"My husband, myself and our black lab, Morgan, rented this wonderful place for a week, the first week of September 2014. It’s always hard for us to get away from work so this was a real treat for us. The weather was beautiful, and the house was lovely. The kitchen had everything you could want. We ate most meals on the upper deck overlooking the lake...ahhhh. Listening to the loons across the lake was wonderful. There is a dock, stone stairs into the lake and a stone bulkhead which are great. But the best thing is the sandy beach. You will need water shoes as you do in most lakes, but the big rocks did not start until you are about 10-15 feet into the water. Our dog loved splashing in the shallow water. We used the kayaks every day and having the beach made it easy to get in and out versus using a dock. We brought floats and it was so relaxing to just float around in the water. And there are several TVs and high speed internet access (a must for us in case work called). Don't forget to visit the Calef country store and order their delicious sandwiches. The ice cream shop nearby was great, Morgan especially liked that."

"Our family of 5 adults & 1 child had a nice weekend renting this home. Pictures don't do justice to the actual views. The house was comfortable, clean, stocked with basics and the owner Mike was easy to deal with via phone/email. The fireplace is fantastic! We went through 12 bundles of wood Friday and Saturday, the fireplace vents circulated the heat well. Never left the home for winter activities, just relaxed and cooked our own meals. The home easily accommodated 2 in our party that uses a walker and a cane. We would definitely rent this home again. Thanks to Mike's family for sharing their home with us and others."

"If I say how much we enjoyed this place it won't be available for us to rent next year.
All of us were so thrilled with the clean and relatively warm water, great dock and raft to swim to. The house is very large, five bedrooms instead of the four listed. A wonderful dining table for all of us board players. Kitchen is huge and very well equipped. The location, so close to lovely Meredith, is excellent. Great walking town. There were tons of activities ;we almost welcomed a rainy day so that we wouldn't mind leaving that peaceful lake. And we did hear the loons sing. How thrilling! Good restaurants near by. I miss it already."
