"Our stay at this private condo across the street from barefoot beach was as advertised. Great location. Great amenities both within the condo (full kitchen) as well as the community (pool/sauna/hot tub). It's only 2 hours North of Boston. You can swim, kayak and hike. You can take a sunset cruise. One morning we got in the car and drove just another hour North to explore the White Mountains for the day. The view from the balcony was just too inviting not to. We booked our long weekend to Misty Harbor last minute and the owner was very accommodating and helpful. I would highly recommend this rental."

"This place is what you imagine when you think of a lakeside retreat: a winding dirt road through the woods, a homey wood cabin with history in the walls, the sounds of the waves lapping on the shore outside your door. The owners were very accomodating about squeezing us in as a last minute replacement for a cancellation, and very friendly and helpful in our communications throughout. (Though they're so well-versed in renting this out, that there really isn't much need to get in touch once you're there.) You're well out of the way, but it's just a ten minute drive back to the heart of Wolfeboro village. There's a private, sandy crescent beach, with a wade out through a sandy cove, and water clear to the bottom even as you swim out to the platform. You're tucked in a nook midway up the eastern shore of the lake, with sun all afternoon and fantastic sunsets over the water. The kitchen is well supplied, and we cooked lunch and dinner on the grill almost every day. The family history is evident all around inside, with old pictures of the construction, knickknacks, driftwood discoveries and more peppered throughout the house; but you don't feel like an intruder, you feel like a welcome guest."

"My brother and a few friends stayed here in early spring of 2015. It was exactly what we were looking for....
A clean cottage, with easy access to the lake! The Converse family made us feel like home and when we left we had all felt that we had made some great friends and awesome memories. We look forward to returning next spring and I hope to return with my family this summer!!!!"

"Just a quick note to say thank you again for the use of your lakeside home. We had a wonderful time, the house was so cozy and comfortable and the lake and surroundings were perfect. Hope to return next year, the view from the porch is irresistible!
Best, Judy and Ron"
