  • Love this house!

"This is a great house-small but clean and comfortable. The owners are so nice and very accomodating. I would recommend staying at this house. It has lots of parking and a large parking lot across the street that my children use to play ball in and ride bikes."

  • Great home, lots of room!

"This is a great property for a large family. There is plenty of space, the bedrooms are large and the kitchen is totally open to a large family room as well as the back deck. There is a gas grill and a full kitchen with all the necessary pots, pans, etc It is a quick, one block walk to the beach, although watch the tides, as you lose the entire beach at high tide twice a day. We still had pkenty of beach tome each day. The beach was really quiet and not over crowded. It was cool the week that we were there, which was ideal because the house does not have AC. Each bedroom has at least one fan, so it was comfortable to sleep. The house was clean. There were plenty of beach towels, sand toys. We needed a few extra beach chairs though. Overall, a great house!"

  • Just What We Expected and Needed

"My husband and I wanted a week at the beach where we did not have to constantly search for food and eat in restaurants, and our 6 year old liked having a place to take a break for lunch. There were cute, affordable beach-type shops right around the corner, and a small, charity-based casino for some adult fun as well. Condo had a great layout and the wi-fi and tv's in each room kept everyone happy (sister and her two 3 year-old twins joined us halfway through). Parking space and the garage were perfect. We had two vehicles, lots of beach stuff, and two bicycles and had no storage issues. Good supply of dishes, pots and pans, etc., and some basic cleaning supplies helped out. Place was real clean when we arrived. There were a few towels there, as well as sheets and bedcoverings. I recommend bringing plenty of beach towels and washcloths/hand towels. There are no places to hang towels to dry, as you are not allowed to hang them over deck railing (understandable, as the condo building is nicer than some homes around it). Big problem was that while the small washer worked fine, the dryer did not dry much at all, and there are few towel racks or hooks to hang from. I noticed a laundromat nearby, but didn't need to use it. Big Bonus - perfect view of Wednesday night fireworks and lanterns, which was so helpful with the smaller children. We really did not want to have to go back out to the beach at 9:30 pm. They sat in nice chairs on the deck and we all enjoyed the show! Getting to the beach could not be easier - down the street one building and then the beach access was right across from where we were. Public bathrooms and showers were real close as well. We drove up the coast 25 minutes to go whale watching, and just 5 minutes more got us to the Seacoast Science Center - get there at low tide to explore the tidepools on the rocks. Sometimes there are guided tidepool tours. Noise level of the area was moderate to low. Some evening music from a nearby restaurant and occasional kids and groups on the street, but for the location, I thought it was rather quiet overall. If we come back to Hampton Beach, we would not hesitate to use this condo again - it made our stay so much easier than a hotel, and was much less expensive for the two families overall."

Seacoast Travel Tips

New Hampshire Seacoast Vacation Rentals near the Ocean

A beach vacation does not have to involve crowds if you plan a great family outing at one of the New Hampshire Seacoast vacation rentals. Many of these beautiful homes and condos are located just steps from the beach where building a sandcastle or jumping in the water might be your favorite activity. North Beach, Hampton Beach and Rye Beach are just a few of the wonderful relaxing options you will have. You can find the perfect hideaway for your family or family reunion retreat. You will want for nothing while living in your holiday spot as the vacation rentals have fully equipped kitchens, spacious living areas and comfortable beds. Do not feel cramped in a traditional hotel room this year. Live the sweet life with a beach house rental on your New Hampshire vacation.

Traveling to New Hampshire Seacoast Condos

If you already live on the east coast, getting to your seacoast condos can be as easy as packing up the car. Interstate Highway 95 is the ribbon of road that transports you to New Hampshire's coastal communities. To get to the New Hampshire seacoast you can exit onto Highway 101 or 1 where the pristine water and sandy beaches are just a few minutes away. Boston's Logan Airport is about 45 minutes from most New Hampshire seacoast condos or beach houses. Or if you want to view more of the scenery of the "Live Free or Die" state, you can fly into Manchester and you will be the same distance away.

Things to do near your New Hampshire Seacoast Lodging

If you are looking for less crowded beaches, then North Beach, New Hampshire offers one of the best. The beach features a long, quiet stretch that is perfect for taking walks along the shore. Waves to body surf in and sandy white beaches for toe wiggling are just a few steps from most New Hampshire lodging. Families find the ambience of North Beach pleasing, as the pace is slower but is not boring. About ten minutes away is Main Beach, where there are many adventures for a family outing away from the water. Arcades beckon children of all ages, restaurants feature fresh seafood, and live entertainment offers nighttime fun.

Shopping is waiting in Portsmouth at its outlet stores or any of its many fascinating local shops. This lovely town also offers a children's museum and a boat trip to the Isle of Shoals. State Parks are also a favorite destination while staying in New Hampshire seacoast beach rentals. Whether or not you leave your beach condos, there is more than enough to keep everyone busy. Water sports are available such as sailing, surfing, fishing and windsurfing. Oftentimes your condo or beach house will have body boards or fishing equipment for you to use.

Planning your New Hampshire Seacoast Vacation

Obviously the best time to visit a beach destination is in the summer. Summers away from the heat of the city are very appealing, so it is a good idea to book your New Hampshire beach house early. The rates are reasonable for an all encompassing vacation with the family. Although there are many restaurants along the beaches you can prepare all of your own meals if you wish. You and your family can live in your bathing suits the entire time. Enjoy your meals on the private deck of your beach lodging as you look for dolphins. During other seasons it may be a bit cold to swim, but with your location you will be able to explore the state parks, museums and other activities. The beach will be all yours for refreshing walks and total relaxation.

History close to New Hampshire Seacoast Beach Houses

Whether you choose to stay in Hampton Beach, Rye Beach, Seabrook or Portsmouth, history will surround you. The Portsmouth Historical Society Museum is located at John Paul Jones House, where there are artifacts from the mid 1700's along with a model replica of Captain Jones ship, the Ranger. Several other mansions of the 1700's are open for tourists. One of particular interest is the Warner House, which has a lightening rod that was installed in 1762. By itself this fact is fairly uninteresting, until you understand that Benjamin Franklin was supposedly on hand to supervise the installation.
