  • New York Escape!

"Where do I start! The main living space is surrounded by windows, with trees all around and skylights! It felt as if you sitting in the trees! I mean I sat there in silence and enjoyed the symphony that was created by the wind and leaves. The rooms where super nice, the kitchen was ready for action, and the attic aka club house for kids was really sweet! Relaxing area, beach a skip away! The owner was a former New Yorker and was a great host! I am back in New York and I feel rested for another year of work, so I would say my vacation was great!"

  • Beach House

"A clean, comfortable, tastefully decorated house just steps from the ocean is perfect for gathering family and friends to enjoy the beautiful expanse of Seabrook Beach. The layout makes it easy to accommodate a mix of generations. Furnishings provide flexibility for lounging and dining. A well equipped kitchen and a great outdoor grill ensure easy meal preparation for casual meals inside and out. Proximity to the ME and MA coastal towns affords affords easily accessible dining and touring options. Seabrook Beach is long and wide with smooth sand expanse that is great for walking. Beach access walkways make it easy to reach the water, a few minutes' walk from the house. The section of beach closest to the house is never crowded. The area is also great for biking with long, flat stretches of safe riding. The owner resides in the adjoining residence and is always helpful, providing insights regarding local activities and resources. A large, well equipped grocery store is 10 minutes away, eliminating need to pack and transport food and supplies. Bedrooms are comfortable with queen-size beds, dresser storage, and plenty of closet space. Linens and towels must be supplied. The central AC provides welcome respite from hot days on the beach, and lots of windows can be opened when evening breezes are preferred. Occasional traffic noise from Ocean Blvd. might be disturbing to some but is reduced when windows are closed. A large capacity washer and dryer make it easy to maintain a supply of fresh towels and clean bathing suits. An outside shower with hot water provides an easy, refreshing way to shed the beach sand before entering the house. Wifi enables residents to stay connected, and a generous allocation of TV's accommodates a diversity of viewers' preferences. Two bedrooms have TV's, as well as one in the upstairs and downstairs lounging areas. Because the living space is spread over three levels, the stairs could pose an obstacle for some residents, and those with young children might need gates for stairs. We ave enjoyed multiple stays and this is the next best thing to our own house at the beach!"

  • Great Condo, Great Location - Definitely a Winner!

"This was our first experience using VRBO, and we were a little nervous about booking the condo without actually seeing it first. We shouldn't have worried. The condo was exactly as described and the photos were completely accurate. This is a lovely, super-clean, well set-up good-sized one-room studio condo, located literally steps from the beach. The kitchen had everything we needed (microwave, little fridge and freezer, coffee-maker, electric burner and kettle, electric frying pan) and everything was spotless. The bed was comfortable, and there was ample storage in the dresser and armoire. The bathroom was very clean with a big shower (no tub) and plenty of towels. The back door opened onto a big common back deck with several tables and umbrellas, and the sliding doors opened onto a front balcony which was perfect for watching the Wednesday fireworks! We could even see the beach from the front balcony. The owner was extremely helpful and accommodating and a wonderful source of information. We can't say enough good things about her! And the location! So close to the wonderful Hampton Beach that we were able to go home, make lunch, and bring it back in ten minutes or less! And we could be at any beachside spot for dinner within five minutes, without taking the car! In fact, that is the only semi-negative comment we have. The wonderful location on a main road means a little more noise from passing cars and motorcycles, particularly on Saturday night. Easily solved with a pair or earplugs! We would have no problem recommending this condo and its owner to anyone, and we are already doing so! Thanks Noreen!"
