  • Great House!!

"I've been coming to this house since I was a kid. Now we're older and have started renting it ourselves. Its perfect for what we need. Large kitchen with a big table for family dinner. Great living room with plenty of seating, fireplace, HD TV for lounging. And plenty of beds so everyone is comfortable at night. Then just a quick ride to the mountain in the morning. Hope to coming back for years to come!!"

  • Summer weekend getaway.

"I would highly recommend this property - the home was very clean and well maintained. There was plenty of room for 8 of us. The owner was quite helpful and responded to all our emails and questions quickly. The location was ideal and very easy to get to. Sitting out on the deck was peaceful and relaxing after a long day hiking. We will definitely return."

"Very cozy and clean. Perfect location.Owners very accomodating. We loved the pellet stove. Had a bit of trouble with wifi but we werent there long enogh to let it bother us. There was everything there we needed including starter soap, toilet paper, dish soap ect The only thing I would recommend is some handles on the kitchen cupboards and drawers. We would definitely recommend this to friends."

  • Mom of two (ages 3 and 7)

"This is our third stay at the Condo. It is always clean, well maintained, with lots of helpful instructions listed throughout the property. The owner's are very easy to deal with and accommodating on requests. This Condo has a lovely 'homely' feel to it, older style, but our family love it. Our daughter's love it and it is ideal for a family. Our most recent visit was 6 of us. Separate floor for the grandparents - perfect. Location, location, location ! It really doesn't get any better. Minutes from beautiful Echo Lake and Cathedral Ledge, but also a quick drive to the main street in North Conway. Activities: for kids this area is perfect. Echo Lake, Storyland, Children's Museum, great playground right by Scenic Railway, indoor water parks. Then, if you go in winter skiing/tubing at Cranmore plus easy access to other ski resorts - we did Attitash as well during our winter stay. Believe there is also ice skating in the area, but we didn't manage to fit that in last time ! Eating out: we love Delaney's, very close to this Condo and you don't have to go down the sometimes busy Main Street of North Conway, as Delaney's is at the 'top end.'"

White Mountains Travel Tips

New Hampshire’s White Mountains are some of the most beautiful mountains to visit in the U.S. Journey along the White Mountains Trail, a 100-mile long Scenic Byway; the views from the Northern and Southern Loop will take your breath away, especially in the fall color. Small towns have historic charm and offer restaurants, shopping and recreation while the range of outdoor activities is unrivalled. See the natural beauty of the area captured by painter Thomas Cole, among many others, or enjoy more active pursuits. Visit lakes, forests, mountain viewpoints, caves and gorges. This area is ideal for family vacations and continues to be a well-kept secret which visitors return to year after year.

The Advantages of Staying in White Mountains Vacation Rentals

A vacation in the White Mountains offers a great opportunity to get away from city life, traffic and crowds, and relax in the peaceful outdoors. A well-located White Mountains cabin or home offers tranquility, privacy and peace. Sit out on the porch and read, curl up by the log fire and watch an old film, cook comfort food in the well-equipped kitchen or soak away the aches of the day in a hot tub after energetic mountain biking. Each White Mountain vacation home is individual so choose a place to suit you and your family and call it home for a week or more.

Things to do by Your White Mountains Lodging in all Four Seasons

Unlike most holiday destinations which have a short summer season, the fun in New Hampshire’s White Mountains goes on all year-round. In fact, it is perhaps at its most popular during the winter months when the ski areas of Mount Cranmore, Attitash, Black Mountain, Wildcat and Bretton Woods vacation cabins are at their best. With a host of cross-country trails for getting around, visitors can enjoy snowmobiling, skiing, ice skating, tobogganing, snow-shoeing, ice climbing and snowboarding. Santa’s Village is another fun attraction during this season.

Spring is great in the White Mountains for hiking, and exploring the area. Shopping is fantastic and there are more than 125 tax-free outlet stores in the area, some within walking distance of White Mountains lodging.

Summer is the time to enjoy the lakes and rivers for swimming, tubing, canoeing, kayaking, boating and fishing. Drier pursuits can include golf, mini-golf, go-carts, mountain biking, horseback riding and hiking in the magnificent scenery.

New Hampshire is known for its spectacular fall color when the trees display vivid reds, oranges and yellows. Take the scenic Conway and Cog railway or go apple picking.

The Lincoln/Woodstock area is conveniently close to the I-93 and offers plenty of activities all year-round on the western slopes of the White Mountains. It is ideal for hikers and nature-lovers or those wanting a scenic drive through the varied landscape. For art-lovers, North Conway Village lodging has a host of small stores, galleries, craft shops and clothing suppliers, and is the area’s center for outlet shopping.
