  • Great big place to stay with outstanding views!

"Bill, Thank you, we had a great time and the house was very comfortable and well equipped, we did not miss anything. Spectacular views, and we were lucky enough that it cleared-up Saturday noon so we got to enjoy the deck and BBQ. Once again thanks, and we will remember you the next time we need a nice place to stay in the White Mountains."

  • New Years Family reunion with the grown kids

"We decided to treat our adult children, one home for leave from Navy, one on college break and one with fiancé to a couple of days away in the mountains. Contacted the owner who was immediately responsive to our request and made arrangements for the cleaning crew to get in there on New Years Day to get the place ready for us that afternoon. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised at how comfortable, CLEAN and cozy the condo was.the condo had everything we could possibly need. Everyone slept well as the beds were comfortable which isn't always the case in a rental property. The location was perfect as we skied at Attitash and on Thursday and Friday night drove a very short distance to North Conway for dinner. Although we did not use the amenities in the club house there was one older kids could walk to. Another nice feature was a skating pond within walking distance to this unit also. The area was very safe and quiet and we would definitely rent here again as well as we will check on renting the other properties this owner has."

  • Torn about sharing my thoughts

"It's hard to write this review because this is one of those hidden gems that I want to keep all to myself! The place was just beautiful, well appointed, very comfortable and felt like we had stumbled into a high end hotel by mistake. I spoke with Peter and he was very easy to deal with, he got back to me quickly and gave me all that I needed to enjoy the space. I can't wait to head back up in the summer and use this awesome place as a base for some summer fun! thank you very much Peter!! We had a great time!"

White Mountains Travel Tips

New Hampshire’s White Mountains are some of the most beautiful mountains to visit in the U.S. Journey along the White Mountains Trail, a 100-mile long Scenic Byway; the views from the Northern and Southern Loop will take your breath away, especially in the fall color. Small towns have historic charm and offer restaurants, shopping and recreation while the range of outdoor activities is unrivalled. See the natural beauty of the area captured by painter Thomas Cole, among many others, or enjoy more active pursuits. Visit lakes, forests, mountain viewpoints, caves and gorges. This area is ideal for family vacations and continues to be a well-kept secret which visitors return to year after year.

The Advantages of Staying in White Mountains Vacation Rentals

A vacation in the White Mountains offers a great opportunity to get away from city life, traffic and crowds, and relax in the peaceful outdoors. A well-located White Mountains cabin or home offers tranquility, privacy and peace. Sit out on the porch and read, curl up by the log fire and watch an old film, cook comfort food in the well-equipped kitchen or soak away the aches of the day in a hot tub after energetic mountain biking. Each White Mountain vacation home is individual so choose a place to suit you and your family and call it home for a week or more.

Things to do by Your White Mountains Lodging in all Four Seasons

Unlike most holiday destinations which have a short summer season, the fun in New Hampshire’s White Mountains goes on all year-round. In fact, it is perhaps at its most popular during the winter months when the ski areas of Mount Cranmore, Attitash, Black Mountain, Wildcat and Bretton Woods vacation cabins are at their best. With a host of cross-country trails for getting around, visitors can enjoy snowmobiling, skiing, ice skating, tobogganing, snow-shoeing, ice climbing and snowboarding. Santa’s Village is another fun attraction during this season.

Spring is great in the White Mountains for hiking, and exploring the area. Shopping is fantastic and there are more than 125 tax-free outlet stores in the area, some within walking distance of White Mountains lodging.

Summer is the time to enjoy the lakes and rivers for swimming, tubing, canoeing, kayaking, boating and fishing. Drier pursuits can include golf, mini-golf, go-carts, mountain biking, horseback riding and hiking in the magnificent scenery.

New Hampshire is known for its spectacular fall color when the trees display vivid reds, oranges and yellows. Take the scenic Conway and Cog railway or go apple picking.

The Lincoln/Woodstock area is conveniently close to the I-93 and offers plenty of activities all year-round on the western slopes of the White Mountains. It is ideal for hikers and nature-lovers or those wanting a scenic drive through the varied landscape. For art-lovers, North Conway Village lodging has a host of small stores, galleries, craft shops and clothing suppliers, and is the area’s center for outlet shopping.
