Getting to the White Mountains, NH

The White Mountains are easily reached by flying into Portland International Jetport at Portland, Maine. It is 57 miles from Bartlett, NH. A little further afield is the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport at Manchester which is 79 miles from Bartlett. Pick up a hire car or sturdy 4-WD and your holiday fun begins. Getting around the White Mountains depends upon what you want to do. Hiking, biking and kayaking are popular but a car is necessary to reach most vacation homes.
