  • Perfect

"This was the perfect October getaway for us. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the accommodations were cozy. The cottage is tucked away out of the busy town, but still close enough to enjoy the spoils of North Conway shopping. Ken was so helpful and promptly returned our emails and security deposit. Water was easy access, kayaks are in great shape and close to the water, and our doggies were welcome. This is a pet friendly cottage that is squeaky clean and you would never guess dogs were allowed there. We will absolutely stay again!"

  • The perfect Valentine getaway!

"My boyfriend and I stayed at Deer Park Resort to celebrate Valentine's Day. The property was clean and contained all the comforts of home. The owners provided helpful information and the Reception staff were very friendly. There is lots to do at the Resort and nearby. We enjoyed shopping at the North Conway Outlets and snowshoeing in the White Mountains. We recommend that you visit Wayne's Market and Deli for Friday's Free Beer Tasting, a great selection of local Beer and delicious sub sandwiches."

  • PERFECT.....We didn't want to leave.

"Our first trip from Hampshire in the UK to New England. We rented Bob's Black Bear Lodge apartment for 3 nights as part of our stay in the New Hampshire area. The apartment was incredible, very private, spacious and lovely and cosy. The views from the dining table of the mountains were amazing, in the morning having breakfast and looking out across the tree tops I didn't want to move. The lounge area is very comfy and the gas wood burner is mesmerising. The bedroom is massive compared to UK sizes and with a bunk bed ideal for a small family too. The views from the bathroom also look out across the mountains.. Everything was well thought out including the lighting, lots on dimmers so you could create some great effects, I also loved all the Black Bear touches I wanted to take the little bear cushion home... The apartment is in Glen and tucked away on one of the ledge roads, but perfect for getting to all the sights in the area. We visited Franconia Notch State Park, which was a great day out, up the cable car to the Notch, walked around the top, the basin is a river flowing over glacier boulders, ending in pool and the flume waterfalls, it's a climb up to the source via wooden steps but worth it, you can then meander back to the centre through the woods (2 miles round trip). We had a rainy day so visited the Wright Museum in Wolfboro, this is a museum dedicated to WWII, very interesting, it also has some vehicles including a couple of tanks. Jackson was also another area we visited, 10 mins from the apartment. Very pretty waterfall cascades and we visited in October and many residents and businesses take part in a display called The pumpkin people and create masterpieces of life size models on their front lawns. We didn't want to leave having found this place, so much better than a hotel room. Bob also showed us around his home, WOW, it's incredible, he is very clever in creating beautiful log homes for people. Thanks for a great time, it's going to be hard to beat.. Sharon and Martin"

  • Beautiful Location for Foliage Photography

"My wife and I returned to Lincoln after 50 years and rented this beautiful, dog friendly Townhouse for two weeks during the peak 2014 foliage. It was easy access to the Cog Railway, Franconia Notch, Crawford Notch and just a mile from the wonderful Kancamangus Highway. We even entertained two other couples for a couple of nights. Most of meals were prepared in the spacious, well-equiped kitchen / family room. Plenty of pots, pans, and dishes, and everything worked! The entire house was extremely clean and well-kept. We practically had the entire community to ourselves, although it started filling up with owners Columbus Day weekend. We were fortunate in finding such a great place to stay."

White Mountains Travel Tips

New Hampshire’s White Mountains are some of the most beautiful mountains to visit in the U.S. Journey along the White Mountains Trail, a 100-mile long Scenic Byway; the views from the Northern and Southern Loop will take your breath away, especially in the fall color. Small towns have historic charm and offer restaurants, shopping and recreation while the range of outdoor activities is unrivalled. See the natural beauty of the area captured by painter Thomas Cole, among many others, or enjoy more active pursuits. Visit lakes, forests, mountain viewpoints, caves and gorges. This area is ideal for family vacations and continues to be a well-kept secret which visitors return to year after year.

The Advantages of Staying in White Mountains Vacation Rentals

A vacation in the White Mountains offers a great opportunity to get away from city life, traffic and crowds, and relax in the peaceful outdoors. A well-located White Mountains cabin or home offers tranquility, privacy and peace. Sit out on the porch and read, curl up by the log fire and watch an old film, cook comfort food in the well-equipped kitchen or soak away the aches of the day in a hot tub after energetic mountain biking. Each White Mountain vacation home is individual so choose a place to suit you and your family and call it home for a week or more.

Things to do by Your White Mountains Lodging in all Four Seasons

Unlike most holiday destinations which have a short summer season, the fun in New Hampshire’s White Mountains goes on all year-round. In fact, it is perhaps at its most popular during the winter months when the ski areas of Mount Cranmore, Attitash, Black Mountain, Wildcat and Bretton Woods vacation cabins are at their best. With a host of cross-country trails for getting around, visitors can enjoy snowmobiling, skiing, ice skating, tobogganing, snow-shoeing, ice climbing and snowboarding. Santa’s Village is another fun attraction during this season.

Spring is great in the White Mountains for hiking, and exploring the area. Shopping is fantastic and there are more than 125 tax-free outlet stores in the area, some within walking distance of White Mountains lodging.

Summer is the time to enjoy the lakes and rivers for swimming, tubing, canoeing, kayaking, boating and fishing. Drier pursuits can include golf, mini-golf, go-carts, mountain biking, horseback riding and hiking in the magnificent scenery.

New Hampshire is known for its spectacular fall color when the trees display vivid reds, oranges and yellows. Take the scenic Conway and Cog railway or go apple picking.

Neighborhoods to Visit by White Mountains Condos

Bartlett is located in a mountain valley in the central White Mountains, about three hours north of Boston. The mountain villages of Jackson, Glen and Hart’s location are close to Bartlett and have attracted visitors for almost 200 years. For those who want covered bridges, quiet lanes, white-steepled churches and rolling farmland, these towns will surprise and delight. The Lincoln/Woodstock area is conveniently close to the I-93 and offers plenty of activities all year-round on the western slopes of the White Mountains. It is ideal for hikers and nature-lovers or those wanting a scenic drive through the varied landscape. For art-lovers, North Conway Village lodging has a host of small stores, galleries, craft shops and clothing suppliers, and is the area’s center for outlet shopping.
