"The pictures the owners have posted, along with the nicely detailed description, tell the REAL story of this beautiful and comfortable home, which is situated perfectly in a very private, protected, yet superbly convenient location. We were searching for that elusive vacation that is hard to come by --- where your find a place that is exactly as advertised, with no complications or unpleasant surprises, and the ability to actually relax and be away from it all (without having to literally be away from it all, if you so choose). Well, we found it here! We bought all of our groceries in the small village grocer, and found that they had everything we needed at surprisingly reasonable prices (they offered a very nice selection of beers & wines for a small place, they do not sell liquor). Be sure to try some local produce, we bought fresh corn on the cob and broccoli, both of which were delicious (the corn was exceptional). Meals were so enjoyable, from preparing them in the well-stocked kitchen with amazing views to eating them at the bar, dining room table, comfy on the couch, or while taking in splendid scenery on the deck. We slept great, and enjoyed the breeze and one pleasant evening of soothing rain since we had the windows open just the right amount. We took the short drive to the Mt Washington Hotel and rode the Cog Wheel train to the summit, as well as checking out a few cascades, and local Bethlehem shops. Other than that, although there are plenty of hiking and skiing options within 15-30 minutes, we just stayed in and savored every moment we could at this special secret retreat. It was very hard to leave....... BTW I travel extensively for business and personal purposes, and have never been inclined to write a review before. I just had to in this case, as I give this my very highest recommendation!"Guest: HappyTravels Date of Stay: October 2014 Review Submitted: October 20, 2014View listing
"We went to North Conway to spend our family Christmas for a long weekend and the accommodation's were perfect! It held us all nicely, including my two young children. It was spacious and cozy and a stone's throw away from downtown. We would absolutely stay there again!"Guest: Jessica Date of Stay: December 2014 Review Submitted: December 29, 2014View listing
"My brother and I took a week vacation in Lincoln, NH. We stayed at this condo and we were not disappointed. The facility itself is wonderful. There were gas grills outside for the residents to use. I was able to barbeque on a number of occasions. The indoor swimming pool was delightful. After a day of hiking and sightseeing, I could go downstairs and have a relaxing swim. The condo was well equipped and the owner was very easy to work with. He was accommodating and helpful. The staff at Lincoln Station were very nice and helpful. The elevator was a plus, my brother has some mobility issues. We loved the loft bedroom and the pull out couch was very comfortable. I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting a quiet get away. The scenery around the property was gorgeous. I would rent this property again."Guest: Kathy Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: December 19, 2014View listing
White Mountains Travel Tips
New Hampshire’s White Mountains are some of the most beautiful mountains to visit in the U.S. Journey along the White Mountains Trail, a 100-mile long Scenic Byway; the views from the Northern and Southern Loop will take your breath away, especially in the fall color. Small towns have historic charm and offer restaurants, shopping and recreation while the range of outdoor activities is unrivalled. See the natural beauty of the area captured by painter Thomas Cole, among many others, or enjoy more active pursuits. Visit lakes, forests, mountain viewpoints, caves and gorges. This area is ideal for family vacations and continues to be a well-kept secret which visitors return to year after year.
The Advantages of Staying in White Mountains Vacation Rentals
A vacation in the White Mountains offers a great opportunity to get away from city life, traffic and crowds, and relax in the peaceful outdoors. A well-located White Mountains cabin or home offers tranquility, privacy and peace. Sit out on the porch and read, curl up by the log fire and watch an old film, cook comfort food in the well-equipped kitchen or soak away the aches of the day in a hot tub after energetic mountain biking. Each White Mountain vacation home is individual so choose a place to suit you and your family and call it home for a week or more.
Things to do by Your White Mountains Lodging in all Four Seasons
Unlike most holiday destinations which have a short summer season, the fun in New Hampshire’s White Mountains goes on all year-round. In fact, it is perhaps at its most popular during the winter months when the ski areas of Mount Cranmore, Attitash, Black Mountain, Wildcat and Bretton Woods vacation cabins are at their best. With a host of cross-country trails for getting around, visitors can enjoy snowmobiling, skiing, ice skating, tobogganing, snow-shoeing, ice climbing and snowboarding. Santa’s Village is another fun attraction during this season.
Spring is great in the White Mountains for hiking, and exploring the area. Shopping is fantastic and there are more than 125 tax-free outlet stores in the area, some within walking distance of White Mountains lodging.
Summer is the time to enjoy the lakes and rivers for swimming, tubing, canoeing, kayaking, boating and fishing. Drier pursuits can include golf, mini-golf, go-carts, mountain biking, horseback riding and hiking in the magnificent scenery.
New Hampshire is known for its spectacular fall color when the trees display vivid reds, oranges and yellows. Take the scenic Conway and Cog railway or go apple picking.
