  • Spectacular Views!

"What a wonderful retreat for a family reunion! (8 adults and 3 children). The views are incredible, and watching the snow fall from the great room is magical. The owner and property manager are both very helpful. The house was spacious with enough for everyone. The kitchen is well stocked, and the house was very clean. You can't ask for a more perfect place to stay."

  • A lovely getaway

"My husband and I enjoyed a lovely week on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee. There could not be nicer and more welcoming hosts/owners than Bryan and his family. Though they are right next door, ( and you share a dock) they kindly gave us privacy. The house is very tidy and well cared for. It's slightly quirky with a kitchen and living/sleeping space on both levels. Ideal for a family with teenagers. Because it was just the two of us we stayed mainly on the first level where the view is quite nice! At times, the space felt a bit tight and we may have preferred more space. The town of Meredith is worth exploring and so nice to be able to walk from Bryan's place. For some reason the coin operated laundry bugged me but I know it wouldn't bother everyone. What it lacked in charm it made up for in hosts and a beautiful view and easy water access."

  • Very private/peaceful area, on cove, not big lake

"Overall, I personally enjoyed the stay, is peaceful, close to everything but is not for people with boats or want to be in the mix of things on a big lake. Positives: -Very private area -Paddle boat -Canoe -Swim dock -Fairly warm water -Fire pit -Big property -Near restaurants and the tilton outlets -Good for families that want privacy but not for partiers or people who have a boat that wants to be on the big lake. Not the best but still OK: - It is not connected to Lake Winnisquam it is on the cove that is technically on the lake but split between small trees. There is a few trails to get through to the actual lake. However, the water is very calm and great for swimming and playing in the water. It is what the title says "Cabin on the cove". -The largest Epham cabin that is shown in the pictures where the others is not is adjacent to the Emerson cabin but the Thoreau cabin is across the street -It is not the cabins fault but there is a lot of bugs outside and no way to keep them out of the house -The cabin is a cabin it could be updated but still in decent condition My recommendation is to go drive if you know the location to check out the cabins or areas before you book! The owner Steve is a very nice guy too!"

  • Great value for great property

"My group of 20 rented out the lodge for the first time and we seriously can't wait to come back! Teena was extremely easy to work with and always responded within 24 hours. She lives near the property so was able to come by and help with anything if needed. The house is very spacious with fantastic extra amenities to meet everyone's needs (foosball, pool, sauna, fireplace, karaoke, TV). The house is nicely tucked away in a private area but yet is just 5-10 minutes from the city center so it was very convenient to get around. My group went skiing/snowtubing near by at Cranmore mountain which was a fun activity, especially if you have children. We look forward to coming back again."
