  • Perfect!

"We just returned home from our wonderful one week family vacation at Camp Westwood. As I sit here and look at the house I wish that I was still laying on the deck...sigh.To be honest,I was a bit concerned about our privacy with the owners carriage house so close to ours but Mark and Debbie were so nice and were never intrusive at all during our stay. The house was just exactly what we hoped it would be! It was large enough to accommodate all ten of us comfortably, clean, well stocked and we even loved the creeky floors in the upstairs...just charming! Our four Grandchildren loved the sandy bottom and shallow water to play and snorkel. Our ten year old Grandson told us that it was the best vacation that he's ever had..better than our Disney trip! haha Big thanks again to Mark and Debbie for allowing us to share their beautiful family lakefront home and for being so nice.We hope to perhaps come back again in a few years if you'll have us! • Great, I would do it again

"Staying at the house was absolutely great. Myself and 6 of my friends stayed at the house for a long weekend. The place is clean, and I'm a neat freak. Skiing at King Pine was great, as it was very easy to get to get to from the house. I would definitely staying here again. The only small issue we had was difficulty with the Wifi cutting out which we weren't that upset about, and I'm sure we would have gotten help with if we had contacted the owner's while we were there!"

  • A lovely getaway

"My husband and I enjoyed a lovely week on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee. There could not be nicer and more welcoming hosts/owners than Bryan and his family. Though they are right next door, ( and you share a dock) they kindly gave us privacy. The house is very tidy and well cared for. It's slightly quirky with a kitchen and living/sleeping space on both levels. Ideal for a family with teenagers. Because it was just the two of us we stayed mainly on the first level where the view is quite nice! At times, the space felt a bit tight and we may have preferred more space. The town of Meredith is worth exploring and so nice to be able to walk from Bryan's place. For some reason the coin operated laundry bugged me but I know it wouldn't bother everyone. What it lacked in charm it made up for in hosts and a beautiful view and easy water access."
