  • End of the Summer Trip.

"We arrived in the evening. We entered the Townhouse, it was very clean, and it is very spacious has a cottage feel, however it has everything you could want or need. Dishwasher, washer & dryer, full fridge & stove and wifi! It is nicely decorated and very comfortable and is settled in a beautiful wooded area. There is a beautiful Deck in the back with a gas grill. The location is great just a few minutes to town for restaurants, and stores. Beautiful Echo lake is about a mile from the house as is Cathedral Ledge. We spent one day on Saco River which was also only a few miles away. My husband got his 3 day fishing pass at the Walmart which is about 5 miles away. During our stay we went to the flume, hiked to Dianna's bath, Ridley Falls, then searched for other hiking areas and found beautiful hiking areas. We spend a whole day of fishing and swimming at Echo Lake and visited Cathedral ledge for a spectacular view of the area. If you have little ones you are very close to Story Land! Attitash is just a few miles away also for Skiing or in the summer has a the Alpine slide a zip line and many more fun things! We would definitely stay again. So much to do great location! • Fantastic rental near Storyland!

"We had a wonderful 3 night stay at this rental. The owner, Don, was most accommodating in allowing us to check-in early at 11am and he was even there to greet us and show us around the house. There were fresh flowers waiting for us on the kitchen table and Don even got water balloons as a gift for my kids to use. We have rented a lot of rental properties and that was a first for us! It was so nice to have our 2 dogs with us at this dog friendly rental. The house is on a dead end street and is bordered on 3 sides by the national forest. The house has a ton of windows which all have beautiful forest views. The house has 3 bedrooms and 1 bath which was great for our family of 4 as each of our kids got to have their own bedroom. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots/pans, basic spices and condiments which came in handy. The TV had a large amount of stations and the owner showed us how to use the movie on demand service too. The location is fantastic - less than 5 minutes from Storyland and only a town over from North Conway. As we were driving home I realized I left my hair dryer in the bathroom cabinet! I called Don and he was wonderful -- he was more than willing to ship it home for me and I received it 3 days later! Thank you, Don, for going above and beyond. We will most definitely be back!"

  • GREAT VACATION SPOT

"Tom, We really enjoyed our stay at the condo. The trip started out well when my grand kids saw a small black bear on the way in to the condo. The neighbors were really nice. So close to story land we were able to go two days which the grand kids enjoyed. We had 10 of us there and there was plenty of room. The condo itself was very clean and nicely stocked with spices to use. The club house right down the road was fabulous. We swam every night and day we were there, played pool and ping pong and even had a cookout using the gas grill at the function hall. Fantastic!!! The grand kids loved it. I only have two negative comments to make. 1st is your pictures do not do the place justice. It is definitely much prettier a place than is looks. The 2nd is the loft is a little tricky to manage up the stairs. Many could not handle the climb. Hopefully we will use your place again. Thanks... Dave Fiore Exeter N.H."

  • A Wonderful Vacation

"We were two families sharing this house for the week and we had a fantastic time, brought our boat with us. loved having the dock right there. Fishing was fantastic. Loved having the grill on porch and the fire pit for smores. Owner was very nice to deal with, answered all our questions and returned my deposit back promptly. House was very clean, AC in Master bedroom. Only down side was the association beach not kept up - weeds. Pool was great. Would highly recommend the Lake House to others."
