  • Great Cabin and friendly people!

"Hi Tom, We had a great week at Museum Lodges. It was a good mix of privacy and friendly people. Very kid friendly and the cottage was clean and comfortable. We appreciated the ceiling fans for comfortable sleeping. The loons wooed us to sleep every night. The beach was clean and safe for younger swimmers, but safe diving off the end of the dock. Loved the Libbey Museum nearby, Bailey's Bubbles for Ice Cream, and the convenience of a full grocery store just two miles away. Had a great meal at Morrissey's Front Porch. Overall very pleased, and Tom was very helpful with any questions."

  • Perfect place for a family vacation

"Descriptions about house are accurate. Owners easy to deal with and provide clear instructions. Cottage is located near places of interest within walking distance to Echo lake, Cathedral Ledge, and Diana' Baths, and has probably the best unobstructed view of the ledge from the large deck and living room. House has good layout with two sitting areas in the same living room and large flat TV, internet, DVD and Wii with some good games for kids and so many movies (even though it is debatable whether it is a good thing or not :-)). We liked the clean, well equiped full kitchen, new grill on the large deck. It was very convenient for preparing a good home-cooked meal. The owners have many mountain and road bicycles for both adults and kids, which were nice for a family to go bike riding in the safe neighborhood. The public beach on Echo lake was very clean and safe for swimming with a fantastic view of the two ledges. Very close to Saco river, which is fun for kayaking, canoeing or simply sitting on tubes floating down the river."
