  • Fantastic views, quiet setting, plenty of space!

"This is our second time back to this condo, as we fell in love with the mountain views, quiet setting and spacious interior on our first visit. Great option if you are looking for a vacation spot tucked away in the White Mountains, but close to the main streets and commerce that North Conway has to offer! I have a 3 yr. old, so definitely family friendly with access to the in-ground pool. Would suggest renting this condo vs. spending more money to reserve a hotel room. Owner is very easy to work with and very nice to communicate with. We will be back next year!"

  • Great vacation home!

"My family, and extended family rented this home in mid-summer. It is definitely not a cottage. The home was lovely and well decorated - the bathrooms felt like you were staying at a 5-star resort. Everything was there for us - from big fluffy towels, board games for the family, life jackets, and it did not lack for anything in the kitchen. We rented a pontoon boat, and it was extremely easy to park it in this quiet cove. The kids ( and adults) loved the water trampoline and kayaks. The decks overlooking the lake were used from early morning to late at night - they were well protected so when the sun was shining, it was very warm despite the cooler morning temperatures. Brian was well prepared for guests. Every switch in the house was labeled - no guessing involved and the book of local activities was very helpful. The one cooler day during the week, we headed to Gunstock for activities for the kids. Wish we had made reservations for the zipline - it was booked for hours. Next time! Hoping to get the family back next year - and we have requests from other family members who want to join us as they saw our pictures and heard our stories!"

  • A great vacation!

"Our family of four, including my mother-in-law, stayed at this house for a week in July and had a great time. Before we rented, the owners were great at answering questions and were very responsive. It's a very short walk to Newfound Lake and similar to another posting there is a slight decline/hill getting to and from the beach area. Both my children loved to "race" us each way. Needless to say they won! We watched several people bring their vehicles to the beach area to drop-off and pickup with ease. The outside shower at the house is nice to wash all the sand off. The house is even better than the pictures. It's well laid out and the house has everything you could possibly need, especially in the kitchen! Even though there is a table in the kitchen, we enjoyed eating dinner at the table that's in the three season porch each night and my children loved having breakfast there in the morning. So peaceful and relaxing! Their flower garden is wonderful and my children and mother-in-law enjoyed trying to identify the various flowers. You can do as little or as much as you want in the area. We headed out each day for excursions from Laconia to Jefferson and everywhere in between and it was nice to come back to a place where we could kick-back and relax."

  • Great destination for winter excursion

"We had a wonderful stay at the chalet this winter! The house is nicely situated on a quiet lake that is an easy drive to North Conway and ski resorts (King Pine, Attitash, Cranmore locally, and Wildcat a bit further). The owner was very responsive and provided easy to follow check-in instructions, and kept us up to date on details prior to our arrival. Even with a lot of snowfall over our stay, the roads were well cleared and access was easy. Inside, the chalet was well maintained, clean, and had plenty of room for our family of four. Our teenage kids were very happy to have their own private bedrooms. The single bathroom could be more of an issue for larger groups, but was fine for our family. The kitchen was well set up for preparing meals and we all enjoyed the cozy TV room and wood burning stove. WiFi access was also very nice to have. Overall the house was exactly what we hoped for for our stay. We'd love to come back in the summer and enjoy the lake and deck when it's warmer. We'd definitely recommend the chalet to couples and families looking for a getaway."
