  • Good location

"We spent a long weekend for a hockey tournament at Waterville. The location was great -easy to unload from the parking area, and it overlooked the ice rink and the town 'village' with places to eat, drink, and shop! The kids enjoyed the pool, and we had a chance to enjoy the skiing/snowboarding at Waterville (a short drive or a shuttle ride away). The Blue Moon Cafe was a favorite breakfast stop, and Legends sports bar was a great place to watch the playoff football games!"

  • Amazing home away from home..

"We could not be happier with out stay at this house. It had everything you could possibly need and then some. Not to mention a very up to date DVD library. I found myself hoping for a rainy day to watch a few movies that caught my eye. My 5 year old son enjoyed fishing off the deck (yes right off the deck) with my husband and father in-law. He caught five fish with his first five casts....what more could a little boy hope for. Both my 5 year old and 2.5 year old enjoyed their first, second, third, etc canoe rides. We even got my mother in-law in the canoe for a ride. We made some great family memories at this location and hope to return on a regular basis."

  • Wonderful Get-a-way

"My husband, myself and our black lab, Morgan, rented this wonderful place for a week, the first week of September 2014. It’s always hard for us to get away from work so this was a real treat for us. The weather was beautiful, and the house was lovely. The kitchen had everything you could want. We ate most meals on the upper deck overlooking the lake...ahhhh. Listening to the loons across the lake was wonderful. There is a dock, stone stairs into the lake and a stone bulkhead which are great. But the best thing is the sandy beach. You will need water shoes as you do in most lakes, but the big rocks did not start until you are about 10-15 feet into the water. Our dog loved splashing in the shallow water. We used the kayaks every day and having the beach made it easy to get in and out versus using a dock. We brought floats and it was so relaxing to just float around in the water. And there are several TVs and high speed internet access (a must for us in case work called). Don't forget to visit the Calef country store and order their delicious sandwiches. The ice cream shop nearby was great, Morgan especially liked that."

  • Had a great time

"My family had a wonderful week at this house. The house has many large windows with skylights. The owner was very responsive to emails and made sure we had all the information we needed for a wonderful stay. I recommend that you rent a boat to enjoy the beautiful lake and its many attractions. Plenty of room for all. We would definitely come back for another week."
