  • Great destination for winter excursion

"We had a wonderful stay at the chalet this winter! The house is nicely situated on a quiet lake that is an easy drive to North Conway and ski resorts (King Pine, Attitash, Cranmore locally, and Wildcat a bit further). The owner was very responsive and provided easy to follow check-in instructions, and kept us up to date on details prior to our arrival. Even with a lot of snowfall over our stay, the roads were well cleared and access was easy. Inside, the chalet was well maintained, clean, and had plenty of room for our family of four. Our teenage kids were very happy to have their own private bedrooms. The single bathroom could be more of an issue for larger groups, but was fine for our family. The kitchen was well set up for preparing meals and we all enjoyed the cozy TV room and wood burning stove. WiFi access was also very nice to have. Overall the house was exactly what we hoped for for our stay. We'd love to come back in the summer and enjoy the lake and deck when it's warmer. We'd definitely recommend the chalet to couples and families looking for a getaway."

  • Absolutely Perfect Weekend Getaway!

"Stayed here for a long weekend getaway with some friends. The pictures DO NOT do it justice! The home is decorated beautifully, gorgeous high ceilings, and much larger than expected. You will be pleasantly surprised! The bedrooms and bathrooms were equipped with linens, which was very convenient. The beautiful kitchen had all the necessities and new appliances. Also, the house has plenty of board games, puzzles, and movies to keep you entertained. The living room, with it's beautiful high ceilings, is the heart of the house. If you are driving in at night, be aware that you will be driving up a large hill, so if it's winter and you have the option, take a four wheel drive vehicle. Location is PERFECT. You are on a quiet street and within a very short walk to an awesome snow mobile trail. But, you are also within a two minute drive from town (restaurants, bars, etc) and very close to Loon Mountain. So you have the best of both worlds! Incredible getaway! Hope to be back next year!"
