  • Clean, spacious, and beautiful property.

"Highly recommend this vacation property. Our family had a wonderful time and enjoyed the peace and quiet. We have rented many properties in the Franconia area and this house was certainly our favorite. The home is very clean, plenty of bath linens, everything you would need in a kitchen, wood-burning fireplace, outdoor eating area, and a large open lawn for the kids to play. The owner was very helpful and provided quick responses to questions. We hope to return to this property in the future."

  • Your expectations will be surpassed!!! Amazing property & great owners

"The pictures the owners have posted, along with the nicely detailed description, tell the REAL story of this beautiful and comfortable home, which is situated perfectly in a very private, protected, yet superbly convenient location. We were searching for that elusive vacation that is hard to come by --- where your find a place that is exactly as advertised, with no complications or unpleasant surprises, and the ability to actually relax and be away from it all (without having to literally be away from it all, if you so choose). Well, we found it here! We bought all of our groceries in the small village grocer, and found that they had everything we needed at surprisingly reasonable prices (they offered a very nice selection of beers & wines for a small place, they do not sell liquor). Be sure to try some local produce, we bought fresh corn on the cob and broccoli, both of which were delicious (the corn was exceptional). Meals were so enjoyable, from preparing them in the well-stocked kitchen with amazing views to eating them at the bar, dining room table, comfy on the couch, or while taking in splendid scenery on the deck. We slept great, and enjoyed the breeze and one pleasant evening of soothing rain since we had the windows open just the right amount. We took the short drive to the Mt Washington Hotel and rode the Cog Wheel train to the summit, as well as checking out a few cascades, and local Bethlehem shops. Other than that, although there are plenty of hiking and skiing options within 15-30 minutes, we just stayed in and savored every moment we could at this special secret retreat. It was very hard to leave....... BTW I travel extensively for business and personal purposes, and have never been inclined to write a review before. I just had to in this case, as I give this my very highest recommendation!"

  • Webster Lake

"This was our second time staying at the cabin. Last year we stayed for one week, and it just wasn't long enough. This year we stayed for 2 weeks, and we had an amazing time. The weather was perfect! Nice and hot! The lake was beautiful, so clean and the water was warm and refreshing. It was so nice to sit on the dock in the morning and watch the loons, bald eagles and ospreys. At night we had our campfires, and listened to the owls! Such an amazing sound to hear! We had great fishing everyday, lots of white and yellow perch, large and small mouth bass, black crappies, and of course the blue gills! I love how the cabin does not have wi-fi or cable, its nice to be able to unplug, from our busy tech filled lives and reconnect with each other; this is what vacation is exactly supposed to be! The cabin was clean, and had everything that we needed. The owners Bernadette and Victor are wonderful people and so nice to work with! We have absolutely found our yearly family vacation spot! We are all looking forward to coming back next year! As a side note, you know its a great place when your 12 year old son talks about it year round, and cannot wait to go back...even without all the modern technology! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place!"

  • Absolute gem!

"This was our second stay at the Roys' home, and we are looking forward to many future visits! The house is spacious, allowing 4 adults and 2 children to have plenty of room, but also very cozy feeling with all the thoughtful touches. Everything is so well thought-out, and the house has everything that you could need. The kitchen is stocked with every type of pot, pan, dish etc. making eating in very easy, but the house is so convenient to restaurants and attractions that it is easy to be out too. We visited during the winter, but are hoping to also make a fall or summer stay this year and take advantage of the gorgeous wrap-around deck. George and Patti are such wonderful hosts, and this is the perfect vacation house!"
