"Had a wonderful vacation at this house! It was spacious and didn't have a lot of clutter which made it easy to keep clean and organized. The owner was always available by phone to answer any questions we had. Huge dining table was great for family dinners and playing board games. I would definitely recommend for large families that need the extra space that a three bedroom does not usually have"

"We have been going back now for 3 years in a row. The owner takes great measures to make the house functional, clean and enjoyable. Gas tanks are filled for use of grilling, chairs are provided for beach with beach badges. House is very clean always and the owner is very accessible if anything is needed (rarely) One of the best shore houses we've ever rented. you won't be disappointed. Two houses from beach and a great beach to enjoy the ocean at that."

  • Perched right on the dunes overlooking the sea

"This was our first time to LBI and I was so happy that we chose Harvey Cedars and this house in particular. The oceanfront homes in Harvey Cedars have an absolutely breathtaking view of a wide horizon on dunes and ocean. It's not just that you can see the sea, it's that you have a panorama that seems to go on for miles and miles. And this particular house is sited diagonally on a double plot so that two of the bedrooms (the master and the one with two twins) have magnificent views that complement that panoramic view of the main living area. Best part: In either of those two rooms, you can really hear the surf (loud) all night and feel the sea breezes as you sleep. Wonderful. Other than that, the house is clean and neat with everything you need to be comfortable and enjoy. We'll definitely be back!"

  • Beautiful Beachfront Property

"We spent a week in this beautiful beachfront house in July 2014 and we absolutely loved it. We were there with my parents, my brother and our two little girls (ages 5 and 2). House was very nice and clean with beautiful views of the ocean. The beach/ocean were very nice and clean as well (no rocks!) with lots of families with young kids. Kids had an absolute blast playing in the water and building sand castles. I would very highly recommend to stay in this house and if we decide to go back to the Jersey shore in the future, we will certainly try to stay there again as long as it's available :-)"

New Jersey Travel Tips

Getting to New Jersey Vacation Rentals

New Jersey is a destination that easily accessible. Most of its population is concentrated in the northeastern parts of the state around Elizabeth, Newark and Jersey City which form part of the New York City Metropole. This is often referred to the Gateway Region as many residents commute daily into New York City for work. The primary airport is Newark Liberty International Airport which is one of the busiest on the East Coast. The airport serves as an alternate airport in and out of New York City and has regularly scheduled commercial flights to most major cities in North America. It is frequently a departure hub for flights to the Caribbean and cities in Europe. The airport is well connected with bus, metro and rail to the city center. Two smaller commercial airports are located in Trenton and Atlantic City. These airports host mostly regional and domestic flights.

As an alternative airport, visitors may also look for flights to Philadelphia International Airport. The airport is within easy driving distance from most places in New Jersey. Travelers from nearby eastern states and cities can take advantage of the good rail links that exist on this section of coast. If you prefer to drive, you will find the roads well marked. Be warned though that in built-up areas and city centers the traffic can get very busy and congested. Often, it is much easier and less stressful to simply use public transportation.

Visitors to New Jersey Lodging

New Jersey is a state where sports are an integral part of the local lifestyle. There are several sports teams based in New Jersey that play in the major leagues, and weekends are often filled with sporting events at the local stadiums. As a result, many of the visitors to New Jersey are sports fans who come to see their local team play. The Prudential Center is a modern sports complex that is home to the National Hockey League New Jersey Devils and New Jersey Nets. Although technically from New York City, the New York Giants and New York Jets which are both National Football League teams play their home games in the New Meadowlands Stadium which is located in New Rutherford. New Jersey offers a convenient vacation destination for city dwellers who don't want to travel far. Many visitors are attracted to Atlantic City vacation rentals with its bright lights and famous boardwalk. For those looking for a quieter escape, there are numerous seaside towns that offer quieter vacation options.

Seasons to Visit New Jersey Beach Condos

The season that you choose to travel will largely depend on your interests. If you are looking to enjoy the coastline and beachfront, summertime is the best option for you. From May to August, you can expect warm summer days. The peak travel season for Jersey Shore beach rentals is typically during June and July which coincides with the school summer vacation season. If you want to avoid the bustle of the summer crowds, plan your vacation early or later in the season. In this way, you still get to enjoy good weather but there will be fewer people around.

Things to Do in New Jersey

New Jersey is home to some superb museums. The Liberty Science Center, located in Jersey City, has some fascinating exhibits. The Newark Museum is the state's oldest museum having opened in 1909.
