  • Family vacation!

"We really enjoyed our stay at your condo which was clean and very convenient to the boardwalk! It was a perfect size for my husband and I, our 4 year old son and our baby girl who slept in a PAC n Play in our room. We even had our friends come and stay for the weekend and there was plenty of room. There are restaurants, ice cream, and the grocery store conveniently located! Actually my baby girl got her very first sinus infection and I was really sick while we were away and we love that CVS was so close! We did a day trip to Cape May and saw all of what Wildwood has to offer. We made great family memories Thank you!!!!"

  • Quiet Getaway

"Great place to relax for a week. Three queen beds! Spacious dining area and pass through kitchen is very nice. The area was nice, quiet and clean. A 5 min drive, 10 min walk and you are at the boardwalk attractions and the beach. There is a CVS a 1.5 blocks from the rental, which is great for quick last minute items. Very easy to get on and off the Island so you can venture to Cape May or Atlantic City for day or evening activities. We would definitely rent this place again."

  • Point Pleasant Beach

"I will rent this house again and again. It is always clean and bright. It is an easy walk to the beach and eatery. It is close enough to the rides you could walk it, but with a 5 year old I do not. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance and you can see the fireworks from the front porch."

Gateway Region Travel Tips

Reasons to Choose Gateway Vacation Rentals

The Gateway region of New Jersey covers the friendly towns and communities of Edgewater, Hoboken, Jersey City, Maplewood and Millburn among others. Most visitors choose to stay in the Gateway area in order to visit New York City, just across the Upper Bay. Choosing a vacation home within 15 minutes of the Big Apple means visitors can enjoy all the sights without the big price tag of staying in Manhattan itself. The towns in the Gateway region have numerous art galleries, shopping malls, great restaurants and museums. They also have excellent transportation links including the PATH train to New York City and ferries to Ellis Island and Liberty Island.

Hotels in New York City can be very pricey, particularly for a family but vacation rentals in the nearby Gateway region are very affordable. Renting a vacation home or apartment gives you a quiet place to return to at the end of each day and relax in comfortable surroundings. Being just 15 minutes from the city allows you easy access to all the city sights from the Gateway region. Enjoy the freedom and space of your own place, with as many bedrooms as you choose. With several TVs and other amenities, the whole family can do as they please. Dining at home can also save money compared to eating out three times a day in NYC. With a well-equipped kitchen and full-size appliances, catering for the family is easy and convenient. Choose a rental home that is within walking distance of the train and avoid the expense and hassle of having a rental car too.

The Upper East Side is known as “Museum Mile” as it has several world-class art galleries and museums. Central Park is a must-do, whether you want a romantic stroll, a morning jog or a horse-drawn carriage ride. In the winter, the ponds are frozen for skating beneath the stars. Chinatown is an excellent area if you want a cheap and tasty meal, or go upmarket and dine in Little Italy. Greenwich is another delightful historic community to explore.
