  • Great place

"My wife, 7 month old son, and I stayed here over Labor Day weekend and really enjoyed our time here. This is a great location, with beautiful views of the bay out of almost all of the house's windows, and it's a short walk to either the ocean-side beach, or a small calm bay-side beach that we found to be perfect for our 7 month old. The deck offered similarly great views of the bay and we did a fair bit of grilling and eating outside there. If I were you, I would ignore the two star review posted earlier. We hesitated a bit when we read the review, but trust me, the review is more of a reflection of the reviewer than of the house. The house WAS clean and tidy. Yes, it's not a modern, sleek luxury hotel room with top of the line appliances, but the quality of the decor and furniture are right in line with what you'd expect to find in a beach house."

  • Adorable

"The place is quaint, clean, and just a few steps from the beautiful beach. You can easily walk to a number of restaurants, little shops, or the laundromat in town. Overall, we had a great visit and felt lucky to have found this sweet spot!"

  • Wonderful family vacation!

"We absolutely loved the cottage and the beautiful accomodations! The dogs LOVED the fenced in yard and we loved the proximity to the dog park and all the things Barnegat Light has to offer. The beach and bay are an easy 5 minute walk, and the tractor tram was great getting to and from the beach area. We thank you for your gracious hospitality and assistance. For any family with small children and/or dogs looking for a perfect vacation house that is beautifully updated and immaculate, near the beach and bay yet set in a tranquil setting, this is the house! We will definitely be back (for 2 weeks!) next summer- Thanks so much again!"

  • This home is an absolute Pearl !!

"This is the quintessential beach house. It is within walking distance to everything! My family of 5 had tons of room to move around, not to mention all of the visiting cousins, nieces & nephews that stopped by. Shantha is lovely to deal with and is extremely accommodating. Love this home and hope to stay again and again…."
