  • Great beach home for family vacation

"We had a wonderful week in easy walking distance of the beach, Barnegat Light, good local restaurants, two ice cream shops and a deli/bakery. The house was clean and comfortable with a well-stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. Well-equipped decks on the front and back of the house made it easy to seek out (or avoid) the sun all day long. Separate screened porch entry for two bedrooms on the lower level offer added privacy & convenience. Beautiful backyard landscaping and hammock. Beach chairs & umbrellas, boogie boards and outdoor shower were very convenient and helpful! We felt like we were sharing a friend's summer home ... not just renting a beach house. We'll be back!"

  • Beautiful home for a corporate retreat

"Instead of going the usual hotel route, I like to get a house for a bit of team building for business meetings. The toughest thing is finding a home with adequate bedrooms and bathrooms. Many homes that are advertised as 6 bedrooms or more just are not, and nothing I would put my team in. This house was exactly as advertised and exactly what we wanted. First off, the home has an amazing location. I've been going to LBI since I was a kid, but never down in the Loveladies area. It is quite, private and serene. A small sandy road leads down towards the beach where this house is one from the end. Parking is more than enough, and even had a couple covered spots. The home itself is immaculate and very nicely furnished. I appreciate the fact that they did not go down market on the furniture and amenities. Everything from the dining room to the bedrooms are quality and comfortable. After renting many homes for these types of meetings, I can honestly say this is NOT the case in many spots! The kitchen also has everything you need to prepare any meal. I was able to prepare a large dinner and never was looking for a utensil or having to make due with junky items. Once again, this is usually not the case. Additionally, there are many spots to get away inside the house. Two big family rooms, generous bedrooms and decks all over. It does not matter where you are in the house, there is a beautiful view. Huge decks give an outstanding view of the Atlantic, and from the roof deck you can watch the bay, ocean and even the lighthouse. Every sunset should be seen from this roof deck. If you are looking for a house for a larger family, multiple families or even a corporate type retreat I would seriously consider this property. Trust me, I am picky and was impressed. Being a vacation property owner myself, I truly appreciate the small details that were put into the home to ensure guests have a wonderful experience. And lastly, the icing on the cake was the communication with the owner. Peter was fantastic, fast to respond and always helpful. That makes this home that much more of a winner."

  • A great vacation!

"We just finished our first week-long vacation on LBI, and had a lovely time at this rental. Nicely-renovated, spacious, 2 blocks from the beach and close to downtown Beach Haven - and it was a huge plus that we could take our small dog along. The house was clean and tidy when we arrived, and it was fully stocked with amenities: WiFi, 3 TVs, well-equipped kitchen, deck, porch, grill, cute yard."
