"I loved staying at this beautiful home. Staying in Holgate truly gives you the feeling you are much further away from home then you really are. The owners decorated this home perfectly to make you never want to leave. I loved being so close to the beach without paying beach front rates. The rooftop patio is the best. You really have perfect view of the bay and ocean from side to side. I wish I could keep this place as my little secret getaway so it would always be available to me but that would be selfish. I truly recommend this home without a doubt. Enjoy!"

*Cleanliness of the apartment/flat
*Outfitted Kitchen (refrigerator, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, dishes, utensils)
*New gas grill
*A brand new large Acme grocery story is a few blocks further south on the Blvd.
*Fun little artistic stores
*Miniature golf all over the island
*Maritime Museum...a must see
*Brigantine Light House
*Skipper Dipper Ice Cream!
*Close to Beach Haven Crest Post Office, a drop off point for NYC shuttle to LBI.
Points which need attention:
*Living Room Furniture is a little worn and should be replaced.
*Microwave is a very old model and needs to be replaced.
Called one of the owners because there was water on the kitchen floor from the sink area and the grill did not work. He came that same day and fixed both problems, replacing the grill with a new one, to boot.
My husband, our grown daughter and a dear friend of hers from NYC greatly enjoyed our stay here this summer for a number of reasons, especially proximity to the ocean (three houses away), and the many close by activities, within biking distance. The museums and miniature golf are nice afternoon or evening activities, too. LBI is beautiful!"

"We enjoyed this clean, well kept home in Beach Haven. Mark was very professional, and was available in an instant when I needed to call him to report minor damage from an unexpected storm that blew through the island with 60 mph winds. Beach Haven is our favorite part of the island because of the many restaurants and amusements within walking distance. You can park your car upon arrival, and not need it again until you're ready to leave! Murphy's Market has everything you'll need and it's only 2 blocks away. Bring your bikes! Easy riding through the back streets and to the beach. Not to be missed: The Ketch sunset (walking distance on the bay). The SeaShell on Sunday... lively bar/restaurant on the end of Engleside Ave. (ocean). Pearl St. Market on Bay Ave. for iced coffee/pastries and excellent fresh seafood. Fantasy Island for the kids.
Mark provides 8 beach badges and allows you to borrow the beach cart (a life-saver!) Yes, I would rent this lovely home again."

"We so much enjoyed our stay over the Fourth of July week. The house was great. More room than we could even think of using. Two master Bedrooms make it great for sharing with ample room for additional guests. We cooked in almost all the meals. Kitchen waswell stocked with every utensil and dish that you could imagine. Plus it was equipped with an outdoor grill which we also took advantage of as well as the wet bar adjacent to the kitchen. What we liked the most was being situated on the bay. Our family has been summering in Bay Head for over 50 years and I never realized how much enjoyment we would get by being on the bay. We would kayak in the morning go to the beach and than kayak and crab at night.. The beach access was very close which is not always the case in Mantaloking. The decks overlooking the bay are spectacular and the downstairs one is covered so in the event it does rain you can still enjoy the outdoors. I would definitely rent this home again and look forward to another visit."
