  • Our best LBI vacation ever!

"We had an incredible beach week at this lovely home! The house was in great shape, very clean, tidy, well-equipped and updated. The location made our week in Barnegat Light so easy - we walked or rode bikes everywhere and only had to use our car for the occasional trip further down the island. We always stay in BL because it's quiet and peaceful there, and this week was no exception. The lighthouse and harbor, Kubel's, Poppy's, etc., are all within easy walking/biking distance, as is the beach (though the dunes are wider here so it's a slightly longer walk... but the beaches are less crowded, a big plus). This was the first time in several years that we brought our two dogs with us. The rental permits pets, but you'd never know it - there were no signs of pet wear-and-tear. A wonderful home away from home. Owners are wonderful, exceptionally nice and pleasant to deal with. We really hope to return next summer!"

  • Amazing House. Amazing Location. Amazing Week. Amazing Owner.

"My wife, daughter & I have done a 1 week Barnegat stay each of the last 4 years. This was our 1st year renting this particular house and it is - by far - the best house we've experienced. The photos posted here accurately capture the well-appointed house and furniture. It's comfortable, airy and light-filled. The kitchen is what you dream of - spacious, counter space galore, a full compliment of dish & glassware, utensils and pots, pans, bowls, etc., and marvelous appliances including top of the line coffee maker and espresso machine. The open top level floor plan allows for meal preparation without being cut off from socializing with family or friends who are in the living room or on the front or back decks. Dining al fresco on the back deck or in the 270 degree windowed dining room with the wooden butcher block table is a treat. The bedrooms are comfortable and quiet. The 3 1/2 bathrooms offer convenience you want for your vacation. The outdoor shower is spacious and clean. The location of the house - only a 5 minute walk to the fresh fish market, a fresh produce market, the wonderful Off Tha Hook restaurant and How You Brewing? coffee shop - offer additional convenience and charm. Finally, on top of it all, the owner was precisely what you want when you're renting a house for your vacation. Honest, responsive, helpful and generous, the homeowner made this detail oriented, fussy renter comfortable throughout. You absolutely cannot go wrong renting this house for your family vacation or friends getaway."

  • Amazing!

"Everything about this house is a dream. The view from the roof deck alone is worth the stay. My fiancé and I came here with friends over Memorial Day weekend, to get married on the beach. The house was very comfortable, with spectacular views from the living room and decks. The master suite is huge and all the bedrooms are very comfortable. Towels, sheets, and all amenities were provided. The dunes provide a more picturesque view than just flat beach, and the beach itself is the cleanest and nicest I've been to on the Jersey shore. The perfect setting for our beach wedding! We all loved it so much we are considering visiting here for an annual vacation."

  • Winter Visit

"We rented this house for Thanksgiving week and it was a true pleasure. The house has an updated kitchen which we used to cook family meals, is close to the Bay and not far from the Ocean. My children and my husband and I truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be renting again!"

Barnegat Light Travel Tips

A Parkside View: Barnegat Light Vacation Rentals

When choosing between Long Beach Island beach houses, many people are impressed with the available Barnegat Light vacation rentals. One of the reasons for this is that Barnegat Light lodging options place vacationers close to the Barnegat Lighthouse State Park which cups the northeastern crescent of Long Beach Island. Some Barnegat Light vacation rentals even have light house views, such as a view of the Old Barney Light House.

Dining In Or Out

Staying in one of the available Barnegat Light vacation rentals gives the vacationers the choice to dine in or out. Although dining out can be a fun part of vacation, it can also get tiresome. Being able to make breakfast or put together picnic lunches is one of the great benefits of staying in one of the Barnegat Light vacation rentals.

There are also plenty of great restaurants available to those who are making use of Barnegat Light lodging options. Some local favorites are Mustache Bill's Diner?, Viking Fresh Off the Hook, Kelly's Old Barney Restaurant?, Rick's American Cafe, and View Restaurant?.

For the History Buffs

For history buffs making use of Barnegat Light lodging on their vacation, there is the Barnegat Light Museum which is situated in an old single room schoolhouse. The lighthouses in the area are also of great interest. While the state park and the museum are accessible to anyone staying in Long Beach Island beach houses, they are most convenient to those staying in Barnegat Light.

Penny Pinching in Luxury

One of the great things about staying in a vacation rental is that you'll be able to feel as though you are at home, enjoying plenty of space and privacy. However, you'll be able to save money by making your own meals and doing your own laundry. Vacation rentals are often more cost effective than hotels, especially for groups and large families and anyone looking to stay for more than just a few days.
