"We rented this house for Thanksgiving week and it was a true pleasure. The house has an updated kitchen which we used to cook family meals, is close to the Bay and not far from the Ocean. My children and my husband and I truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be renting again!"Guest: Tina T. Date of Stay: November 2013 Review Submitted: December 4, 2013View listing
"This house was a surprise Jewel for us! Lovely inside, bright, cheerful, and really fun to stay in. Except for the stairs, you would hardly know you are in an apartment. Great deck with a great view too. Perfect location. We will be back!"Guest: Jack Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 22, 2014View listing
"I spent a long weekend here in May with my whole family (adult kids), and will be back for a week in August. The house itself is modern, spacious and comfortable, with great decks, a new grill, wireless, etc- everything thing you need is there. The location was also terrific- close walking distance to shopping, bike rental, the lighthouse and restaurants. It's very quiet, - one house in from the bay. The owners are very helpful, nice people."Guest: Barbara S. Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: June 13, 2014View listing
"We had a wonderful week in easy walking distance of the beach, Barnegat Light, good local restaurants, two ice cream shops and a deli/bakery. The house was clean and comfortable with a well-stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. Well-equipped decks on the front and back of the house made it easy to seek out (or avoid) the sun all day long. Separate screened porch entry for two bedrooms on the lower level offer added privacy & convenience. Beautiful backyard landscaping and hammock. Beach chairs & umbrellas, boogie boards and outdoor shower were very convenient and helpful! We felt like we were sharing a friend's summer home ... not just renting a beach house. We'll be back!"Guest: Charlie & Nina Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: September 4, 2014View listing
Barnegat Light Travel Tips
A Parkside View: Barnegat Light Vacation Rentals
When choosing between Long Beach Island beach houses, many people are impressed with the available Barnegat Light vacation rentals. One of the reasons for this is that Barnegat Light lodging options place vacationers close to the Barnegat Lighthouse State Park which cups the northeastern crescent of Long Beach Island. Some Barnegat Light vacation rentals even have light house views, such as a view of the Old Barney Light House.
Dining In Or Out
Staying in one of the available Barnegat Light vacation rentals gives the vacationers the choice to dine in or out. Although dining out can be a fun part of vacation, it can also get tiresome. Being able to make breakfast or put together picnic lunches is one of the great benefits of staying in one of the Barnegat Light vacation rentals.
There are also plenty of great restaurants available to those who are making use of Barnegat Light lodging options. Some local favorites are Mustache Bill's Diner?, Viking Fresh Off the Hook, Kelly's Old Barney Restaurant?, Rick's American Cafe, and View Restaurant?.
For the History Buffs
For history buffs making use of Barnegat Light lodging on their vacation, there is the Barnegat Light Museum which is situated in an old single room schoolhouse. The lighthouses in the area are also of great interest. While the state park and the museum are accessible to anyone staying in Long Beach Island beach houses, they are most convenient to those staying in Barnegat Light.
Penny Pinching in Luxury
One of the great things about staying in a vacation rental is that you'll be able to feel as though you are at home, enjoying plenty of space and privacy. However, you'll be able to save money by making your own meals and doing your own laundry. Vacation rentals are often more cost effective than hotels, especially for groups and large families and anyone looking to stay for more than just a few days.
