  • Great house in central location

"Stayed at this wonderful home with 2 of my friends for a week. Booked the house sight unseen and we were very pleased by the house. 3 well sized bedrooms. The master bedroom had a small bathroom with a shower and the two other bedrooms shared a large bathroom with a full tub. The kitchen was very nice and included a dish washer. Just about any kitchen utensil we needed was provided. The home also had brand new carpeting put in. We were pleasantly surprised with the location. 2 small markets were a short drive away and we were within walking distance of an italian deli, bagel shop, pizza place, ice cream store, BBQ restaurant and frozen yogurt stand. We were also walking disatnce to a liquor store and the Surf City Hotel. Looked like a new bar was being rebuilt in back of the liquor store. It was a short three block walk to the beach. Overall we loved the property and working with the owners. Having a great "home" for the week allowed us to relax and enjoy our vacation."

  • Many Happy Memories

"My wife and I rented this beach house during the past two thoroughly-enjoyable summer vacations. Everything about it is beachy. We enjoyed barbecuing almost every eve and eating on the high deck, where there was always a breeze. (Often the barbeque was fresh scallops or other fish bought blocks away at the commercial fishing dock at Viking Village). While the house has air conditioners throughout, we turned them on only once in two summers. The house is cozy with cute beach art and collectibles. Our guests enjoyed it almost as much as we did (in fact one set of guests rented it after staying with us). It is one-half block from a spectacular, Cape-Cod-like beach. We always looked forward to walking up and down the dunes to the beach through the varied natural vegetation (though if you have tons of beach gear and are impatient to get to the waves, this stretch of beach is not for you). The street is quiet. The owner is a pleasure to deal with."

  • Relaxing Memorial Day

"Our friends enjoyed a long weekend vacation at this wonderful home. We were extremely pleased. It was everything we were hoping for and more. There is so much to say when it comes to the location. Just pull up a chair and enjoy the spectacular oceanviews from the deck. Pack your beach bag and head to the beach just steps away. The home has plenty of room for the family and is stocked with everything you need. This is the perfect place for a relaxing vacation."

  • Delightful Setting, Charming Condo, Great Location, Rich Amenities, Restful Stay

"My wife and I came with our college aged son and one of his friends. All enjoyed traveling on the Island by car and bicycle. We strongly suggest a trip to the Barnegat Lighthouse and Park. The local dining options run the full gambit from very causal/take out to three star. One week was not enough to experience it all. The condo itself is pristine and very comfortable. Easily accommodating the four of us. The location couldn’t be better! And it’s fun to sit either at the picnic table, or on the Adirondack chairs on the porch to watch the goings on in the “Marina”. This has to be one of the best locations on the island (we went end to end a few times and even climbed the light house). The ocean beach entrance is two short blocks away. Very relaxing week, and we appreciated the beach passes, a very considerate touch. The barbeque came in very handy for preparing lunches and reheating leftovers from dining out the night before. Other than the coffee pot, the vast array of appliances sat unused. Our neighbors were all great and very friendly. We enjoyed swimming, surfing, fishing and strolling (the island is flat so there is no real hiking). Hope this rave review doesn’t hurt availability when we plan to come back! ;)"
