  • Wonderful get away

"Our two families (4 adults and 4 kids) stayed at the home this last week. What a wonderful time we had! All the amenities of home, a gorgeous kitchen, HBO and full cable, free wifi, comfortable beds and pretty much anything our hearts desired, was included for us in this home. The beach was a quick trip away via tractor, and not crowded at all. The lighthouse was a short bike ride away, as well as several restaurants, shops, the Viking village, and access to fishing. Walking to ice cream at night with the kids was always fun, and we had no problem with them riding bikes or scooters on the private street. The neighbors were all friendly, in fact, they had kids the same age as ours to play with! It was a great week:)"

  • The perfect beach house!

"My family sepent a week at this wonderful beach house. We had 2 stories so there was room for everyone to spread out but also places to be together. The house is on a quiet, family oriented street and a brief walk to the beach. The house is even nicer than in the pictures and very clean and well maintained. The owner was available and helpful and I would highly recommend this house. We were able to walk to shops and cross the street to watch the sun set over the bay. Daddy O's is a block away (with their rooftop bar) but it was so quiet you would not know it. Everyone said this was such a relaxing vacation but we also had time to do so many fun things!"

  • All the Bells & Whistles for a Great Vacation House

"Just returned from any idyllic two week stay where we had perfect weather every day of our Jersey shore vacation in this serene and scenic town of Spring Lake. We loved coming for day visits during the time we raised our children in Monmouth county and to return to the area now that we"re living out west to visit with our grown kids and grandchild was a dream come true; this gorgeous house helped add to our experience. Not only did the owner Anthony personally see to our comfort in numerous ways, but the touches he and his wife Maria have added to the property made us feel right at home from arrival through departure. The house is absolutely immaculate, the kitchen is well stocked from plenty of dishes, glasses and assorted cookware - to plentiful clean fresh linens and all rooms are tastefully and decoratively appointed. We rented bikes from Donna on Warren Ave, an easy walking distance away, and loved biking around town. For beach access, we preferred driving and found parking readily available. We'd not realized most Third Ave. restaurants close on Tuesdays and Wednesdays but this was not an issue - there are assorted other choices in neighboring towns; besides, with so many fresh farm stands around, not to mention the great butcher and appetizing selections from Tom Bailey's (not to overlook our frequent stops at the delicious Scone Pony for breakfast treats) it was a culinary delight to put together a quick and easy dinner on the outdoor grill. And the outdoor shower provided a great way to wash off after returning from the beach. Even the bells and whistles from the nearby train, which did take some getting used to, faded to the background, and provided a source of tremendous entertainment to our grandson who enjoyed a ride on his first big train to Asbury Park and back. It also allowed us to partake of going into a Broadway show one day. But for the most part, we loved relaxing each day by the shore, with some side trips to Delicious Orchards, the fantastic Wegmans grocery store, Hoffman's Ice Cream, Cream Ridge Winery in Allentown for wine sampling, Allaire State Park and Point Pleasant for our grandson to sample life not readily available here in the desert of Arizona. A perfect sampling of life at the Jersey Shore!"

  • Convenient and relaxing!

"This is a lovely place to stay. It's steps from the main part of the boardwalk (by Spicy's and JR's). The condo is spacious, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The property, including the pool, is very clean and well-maintained. There are brand new appliances and the water pressure is very good (a minute detail, but important to me). The balconies were small and simple, perfect for unwinding between returning from the beach and hitting the boardwalk. There are numerical keypad codes for each door, rather than hard keys, which is great if you're traveling with many people. The owner, Andrea, is extremely nice and always available for any questions. She gives you the option of cleaning the condo yourself before leaving or hiring an local company. We chose to use a local company, The Shore List. They were affordable and did a great job. (They also supply linens etc. in case can you want to save time and space by not bringing your own!) Hint: If you choose to get the condo cleaned at the last minute, you'll have better chances if you book them for an earlier time (such as 8 a.m.). Overall our stay was great. However, be advised that there are quite a few stairs involved if you stay on the top floor!"
