  • Wonderful owner, large house, great location!

"I recently stayed in this wonderful house with a group of college students during a spring break volunteer service trip. There were 9 of us total and we had plenty of space to live comfortably within the house for the week. There are four full bathrooms in the home. Two on the main level and two upstairs so we never had a problem with bathroom or shower access with the large group of people. There was enough space for us to all eat dinner together around the dining room table and play games in the living room by the beautiful fireplace at night. We hit some unseasonably chilly temperatures so we didn't get to use the backyard much (it actually snowed one night while we were there) which was a disappointment as the deck and yard were spacious and well furnished with tables, chairs, lounge chairs and a grill. The house is a very short walk to the beach and is well equipped with cards and games to keep you busy even on rainy days. I am a neat/clean freak and the house met every one of my desires for a comfortable and clean environment. Working with the owner to set-up the rental was super easy and a complete pleasure. I would say that the house would be perfect for an extended family getaway as the sleeping arrangements are so flexible it could accommodate all sorts of groups. having two separate living rooms with TVs was great as well and would work wonderfully for a family as there could be a kids room and an adult room for evening relaxation. I just can't say enough wonderful things about the owner and the house. I hope I have a reason to return soon!"

  • Perfect beach vacation

"We had a wonderful two week family vacation in Spring Lake. The house, town, and beach were absolutely wonderful and we can't wait to return again. The house is ideal for a summer rental. It is comfortable, has every amenity, and the back yard is ideal for gathering together after a long day at the beach for barbecuing and relaxing around the fire pit. The beach is a short walk but if you want to drive, there is plenty of parking within one block of the beach. The beaches are gorgeous and the charming town is within a couple of blocks from the house. The owner was delightful to rent fom and made our stay particularly welcoming and enjoyable. We would recommend this property to friends and family!"

  • All the Bells & Whistles for a Great Vacation House

"Just returned from any idyllic two week stay where we had perfect weather every day of our Jersey shore vacation in this serene and scenic town of Spring Lake. We loved coming for day visits during the time we raised our children in Monmouth county and to return to the area now that we"re living out west to visit with our grown kids and grandchild was a dream come true; this gorgeous house helped add to our experience. Not only did the owner Anthony personally see to our comfort in numerous ways, but the touches he and his wife Maria have added to the property made us feel right at home from arrival through departure. The house is absolutely immaculate, the kitchen is well stocked from plenty of dishes, glasses and assorted cookware - to plentiful clean fresh linens and all rooms are tastefully and decoratively appointed. We rented bikes from Donna on Warren Ave, an easy walking distance away, and loved biking around town. For beach access, we preferred driving and found parking readily available. We'd not realized most Third Ave. restaurants close on Tuesdays and Wednesdays but this was not an issue - there are assorted other choices in neighboring towns; besides, with so many fresh farm stands around, not to mention the great butcher and appetizing selections from Tom Bailey's (not to overlook our frequent stops at the delicious Scone Pony for breakfast treats) it was a culinary delight to put together a quick and easy dinner on the outdoor grill. And the outdoor shower provided a great way to wash off after returning from the beach. Even the bells and whistles from the nearby train, which did take some getting used to, faded to the background, and provided a source of tremendous entertainment to our grandson who enjoyed a ride on his first big train to Asbury Park and back. It also allowed us to partake of going into a Broadway show one day. But for the most part, we loved relaxing each day by the shore, with some side trips to Delicious Orchards, the fantastic Wegmans grocery store, Hoffman's Ice Cream, Cream Ridge Winery in Allentown for wine sampling, Allaire State Park and Point Pleasant for our grandson to sample life not readily available here in the desert of Arizona. A perfect sampling of life at the Jersey Shore!"

  • Great house, excellent location

"My family was very pleased with our stay. House is exactly as pictured - different wallpaper themes with coordinating bed covers in each bedroom made upstairs feel like a cute B&B. All bedrooms have ample drawer + closet space. Mattresses are very comfortable (we're picky about that). Two full, modern + immaculately clean bathrooms on the second floor make this a very easy house for a group. Another full bath on the first floor and terrific outdoor shower - one of our favorite things about life at the beach. Kitchen is well laid out + equipped, with a large table that invites you to gather. 4 blocks from the beach (an easy, scenic stroll) and an even shorter walk into town. First floor is very well laid out, although we spent most of our time outside and didn't use the living or dining room. We had a few questions on arrival, and Nan responded immediately to our voice message. A perfect stay - we hope to be back next year! I definitely recommend this property."
