  • Amazing House. Amazing Location. Amazing Week. Amazing Owner.

"My wife, daughter & I have done a 1 week Barnegat stay each of the last 4 years. This was our 1st year renting this particular house and it is - by far - the best house we've experienced. The photos posted here accurately capture the well-appointed house and furniture. It's comfortable, airy and light-filled. The kitchen is what you dream of - spacious, counter space galore, a full compliment of dish & glassware, utensils and pots, pans, bowls, etc., and marvelous appliances including top of the line coffee maker and espresso machine. The open top level floor plan allows for meal preparation without being cut off from socializing with family or friends who are in the living room or on the front or back decks. Dining al fresco on the back deck or in the 270 degree windowed dining room with the wooden butcher block table is a treat. The bedrooms are comfortable and quiet. The 3 1/2 bathrooms offer convenience you want for your vacation. The outdoor shower is spacious and clean. The location of the house - only a 5 minute walk to the fresh fish market, a fresh produce market, the wonderful Off Tha Hook restaurant and How You Brewing? coffee shop - offer additional convenience and charm. Finally, on top of it all, the owner was precisely what you want when you're renting a house for your vacation. Honest, responsive, helpful and generous, the homeowner made this detail oriented, fussy renter comfortable throughout. You absolutely cannot go wrong renting this house for your family vacation or friends getaway."

  • A bright, happy get-away

"Spring Lake is a charming town, with the feel of a New England seaside community. Friendly residents, terrific shops, & plenty of places to get a good meal. Overall a cozy, small-town America feel with the added attraction of the beach. And where better to stay than your lovely home. From the minute we arrived, the wonderful, Lily Pulitzer-inspired colors and tasteful seashore decor throughout the house, made us feel blissfully on vacation. Walkers will enjoy the jaunt into town, or you can drive and be in the heart of things in a couple of minutes. Such an easy trip from the Philly suburbs (1 hour, 15 minutes) and so close to other great spots, like Ocean Grove. We had a fantastic few days. My aunt has mobility issues, so having one of the bedrooms & a bathroom on the first floor was perfect. The layout of the living space allows everyone to chat, prepare food, see the tv, and be all together without being on top of each other. And the outdoor space was great as well. Terrific vacation, perfect shore cottage. Thanks so much."

  • Best time ever

"One of the best vacations my family and I have had for a whole. Being native to the summertime fun in jersey shore this house was a home away from home as well as the perfect getaway. The amazing backyard allowed my family to unit and play games together, enjoy the BBQ as well as swim in the water and watch all the water activities. With it's close proximity to seaside and the food store we had everything we needed! The owners are the most incredible, caring and down right amazing people. We already plan to return next summer for a longer stay! I recommend staying here over and over again"

  • Great location and great house in Beach Haven!

"Our family stayed at this lovely ocean front duplex last week: 4 adults, 2 young children and a dog and we really enjoyed the house! The house was clean, comfortable and it had all the basic things that you may need. if you plan to cook, you may just want to bring a good knife and don't forget the sheets/towels! You may also want to bring a queen size blanket for each of the 2 beds - the ones in the house were a bit small and need to be replaced. We forgot the sheets for one bed, so we had to purchase a set at the B&B store on the main drag!) The outdoor shower was great, washer and dryer on the outside worked well, and we had breakfast, lunch and dinner on the the deck overlooking the ocean (we had the first floor) just about everyday! Thank you Ellen - we definitely plan to be back!!!"
