The perfect choice
"We loved it! Everything was perfect--clean, quaint, equipped, comfortable, close to everything. The only thing missing was the opportunity to stay longer!! Our hosts couldn't have been kinder. Hopefully we'll be back."

"My 2 yorkies, Gizmo & Big Louie and myself stayed from May 23rd to the 31st and we had a great time. This cottage is off the beaten path, tucked away in West Cape May. Far enough from the crowds but close enough to town to get there in minutes. The beach in the town of Cape May is just about a mile and 1/2 from the cottage. And it's 2 miles to Cape May point and the lighthouse/beach access. My dogs loved going to the little circle park close to the lighthouse everyday. And I enjoyed putting 115 miles on my bike in the week we were there.....many roads to explore.....many great old Victorian homes to see. Parking in town can be hard during the busy season and most lots and curb-sides have meters. I found that it was easier to either bike into town or use the beach access at the Cape May Lighthouse....parking in the large lot there is free and the beach is great. The cottage owner is very friendly and helpful and the cottage had everything I needed. I would stay here again when I next visit Cape May."

Pictures Don't Do This Home Justice. Two and Four Legged Visitors Will Love It.
"We were looking for a pet friendly home for our Cape May vacation and we were not disappointed. In fact, the pictures of this home on the website do not do it justice. From the outside, it looks small, but inside is very spacious, beautifully decorated, and well maintained. You open the door into this huge open area where there is a table that can easily seat 10. This is where I found a handwritten card from the owner telling us to enjoy our stay and to also enjoy the French apple pie and Jersey tomatoes in the fridge. Nice Touch!!! A living room with lots of seating is just off this room and there is a very large kitchen with a table that seat 3-4 easily. Kitchen is also fully equipped with double oven, microwave, dishwasher, etc. At the back of the home is a very comfortable family room with a 55 inch flat screen. This is the PERFECT place for this room since all the bedrooms are at the front of the house. Kids can watch TV or movies, play video games, or whatever and never disturb anyone. Off the family room is a large deck with seating for 6 and extra chairs with a propane BBQ grill which we used often. An extra propane tank was there as well. The back yard is completely fenced in with wire fencing around all the nooks and crannies (under steps, at the bottom of the fence, etc.). Our goldens didn't need this but small dogs would be very safe in this back yard. The three bedrooms were beautifully decorated with bed linens that matched the color scheme of the room. The master bedroom was huge with a king bed and it's own bathroom and plenty of room in the dressers and closets. The owners also provided a beach cart with 4 beach chairs, two umbrellas, a small cooler and even beach toys. They also provided a beach umbrella service so we had a very large umbrella set up for us each day from a vendor on the beach at no charge. And don't forget the bikes in the small shed out back. There is even a pooper scooper and bucket for cleaning up the messes. Oh, and don't think because this is a pet friendly home it smells like old dog. It was remarkably fresh and clean. Friends staying in Cape May that week remarked they never would have guessed dogs were ever in this house.
The house is about 5 short blocks to the beach so you need to prepare for that. However, there is a public bathroom right at the beach entrance. You won't have to go back to the house all day if you pack a lunch.
It was a WONDERFUL week in Cape May."

"This year, my 7 dear friends and I spent our 14th annual Girls Weekend in Cape May. It's where we had our first one so many years ago. The weather was SPECTACULAR and this house was wonderful for us. Everyone had a comfortable place to sleep and the dining room table was a great place for us to gather and share many laughs. The sunny side porch is a lovely place for tea and reading, too. We loved that we could walk just about everywhere. Ron was a wonderful host and we hate to leave this lovely home. Thank you for sharing this lovely, historic home!"
