Peaceful and Relaxing!
"A wonderful peaceful stay at the Dragonfly Cottage!! The room was very clean and had a great coffee station with a Keurig coffee maker with a nice selection of coffees, Small but nice size refrigerator ready for you to fill with your grocery needs. Flat screen TV, roomy updated bathroom with a pretty antique style pocket door. AC for warm days and a pretty gas stove for those chilly days ahead.
Large private driveway with plenty of parking, nice comfortable beach chairs, beach tags, umbrella, beach boards and bikes to ride into town. The cottage is about a mile away from the heart of Cape May. Nice to leave the hectic crowds and return to this peaceful cottage with sounds of beautiful birds, ducks from the next property and yes even chickens! Loved sitting on the deck listening to nature.
Stephanie the owner goes out of her way to make sure your stay is perfect! Thank you Stephanie for sharing your pretty cottage! Will definitely recommend everyone to the Dragonfly Cottage!"

"My husband and I came down to Cape May for our first visit. We arrived at the Isenhart House on August 8th for a one week stay. Our host, Chris Isenhart, couldn't have been a nicer person. The apartment has a few drawbacks but overall it works well for 2 people. It would be a very crowded for 4 even if two of them were children. The biggest drawback is the kitchen. It is not fully equipped for cooking in and it is TINY; no counter space at all. If you like to cook in when you're on vacation, this is not the place for you. No toaster (description said toaster oven but I missed that nuance). No measuring cups or measuring spoons. Sauce pans only. The large pot that would normally be used for lobster or corn on the cob was all rusted out on the bottom and had no cover. No dishwasher and the kitchen had ants. On the plus side, Chris invites you to indulge yourself in her wonderful vegetable garden! The living room is comfortable and the bedroom is spacious. The mattress needs to be replaced as it is too soft and offers no support whatsoever. The bathroom is small but serviceable and the same can be said of the "deck" in the back. The deck could definitely benefit from a smaller table and chairs considering it's tiny size. The Isenhart's keep chickens and have a large dog. The location, in West Cape May, is very rural with some of the homes having roaming geese, chickens, dogs and BIG birds that I think were turkeys walking free. My husband and I like to exercise in the morning and having to go by these houses with the animals was a little disconcerting. Chris is the reason we would go back. She couldn't BE more accommodating. My husband suffered an unfortunately running accident while we were here and Chris, with her nursing background, could not have been more solicitous and helpful. All in all...we would go back but I made a list of things to bring with me to make the kitchen more useable."

"We visited Vineyard Vista for the Easter weekend this year and can't wait to go back. We have stayed in Cape May a few times on Beach Ave, but would find ourselves in West Cape May to spend time on Sunset Beach, the bird sanctuary, the WWII tower, and the wineries more often than not. We walked one day from the house, through the bird sanctuary, past the lighthouse, back through Sunset Beach, and back to the house for relaxation. It is right across the street from a very nice winery and has great views. The owner lives next door and is very friendly and accommodating. The cottage has everything you need and is very clean. There is a shed to keep bikes - Washington Square and the South Cape May beaches are only a short bike ride away. Lovely place to stay."
