  • Wonderful trip at Willow Cottage!

"We were in town for our daughters Coast Guard graduation. Willow cottage was everything that was advertised and more. Janice, the owner, is more than helpful with questions regarding the area and is MOST accommodating. Our family had a wonderful time, and would NOT hesitate to stay here again, nor recommend it to family and friends. The sunsets on the bay are magnificient, and this home is very centrally located to all of the "things to do" in the area. You are not renting a house when you rent Willow cottage, you are renting a home! The only negative is that we were not able to stay longer. If you are interested in using the Cape May-Lewes ferry, Willow cottage is less than 10 minutes away, and it was a great expierence. Thank you Janice!"

  • So Nice to Stay on the Beach....Almost

"This is a very nicely appointed and immaculate apartment, with moderately tropical decorative elements -- very pleasant, not over done. There is a lot fitted into its relatively compact space. That is, the living room, kitchen and dining alcove are really one room. Comfortable seating is limited to the sofa. I was surprised at the lack of space and seating when we first checked in, but it seemed less of a problem as time passed and I spent most of my indoor time sitting at the dining table knitting. The small deck is most comfortable for one person, although it should be said that any deck or balcony with a view is a luxury in Cape May. In addition, there is a large common sitting area on the front veranda with Adirondack chairs and rockers. The under-building storage area is large and tidy, ample for multiple bikes. It is really nice to have beach chairs and umbrellas provided. The description doesn't mention the building's elevator, which was a real treat, as we have lugged suitcases and supplies up many flights of stairs during our 30+ years of coming to Cape May. Please note that the elevator starts on the first floor, up about 10 steps from ground level. The owner was wonderfully responsive to emailed and telephoned questions."

  • FABULOUS WEEKEND AT THE CORNER HOUSE IN CAPE MAY, N.J.

"From start to finish, my experience with the owner, Rosie was wonderful. She is a lovely woman and such a pleasure to deal with. This is the 1st time I used VRBO and I did contact several owners of homes in Cape May for a 60th birthday celebration with 9 of my girlfriends. The Corner House seemed to be and turned out to be a perfect match. First of all, the house is absolutely beautiful, it looks brand new. It was clean, comfortable with a spectacular open floor plan, great for entertaining. The location was outstanding, in between the town (Washington Street Mall) and the beach, approximately a 7 minute walk to each. It is across the street from a spa and a restaurant called the Washington Inn. The house has a wrap around porch and it was enjoyable sitting outside watching the horse and buggy as well as the trolley pass by. The house has a garage and an elevator which was great to use to bring our luggage and food upstairs. The kitchen is very modern and well stocked with everything you will need to cook, eat and drink. We had fun sitting at the island and the dining table which had seats for the 10 of us. The beds are extremely comfortable and it sleeps 13.There are 3.5 bathrooms and a magnificent and extremely large master suite. Stop looking and rent this house...it is very reasonable and you will have a splendid vacation. We cannot wait to go back. A big thanks to Rosie for sharing her fantastic home with us."

  • Spacious home in great location

"My family and I really enjoyed our stay in this lovely, historic home. The house was immaculate on our arrival, and we were more than comfortable in the numerous bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. We were impressed with the newly renovated kitchen equipped with everything you could possibly need and all the beautiful antique furnishings throughout the house. The location is ideal, very accessible to the beach, the shops, and the restaurants. Be sure to take advantage of the front porch rockers where you can sit, relax and take in all the charms that Cape May has to offer."
