  • Beautiful Victorian in West Cape May

"We had a family reunion in West Cape May and rented this beautiful Victorian for our four adult children and 5 grandchildren. Great location, only three blocks from our condo and walking distance to beach, shops, and restaurants. The gardens are lovely with little nymphs hidden among the flowers. The children loved it! And the water feature is beautiful, you can hear it from the new screened in porch. It was very relaxing hearing the birds and babbling water. The house is exactly how it is advertised, beautiful rooms and porches to relax in and very roomy. It is easy to seek out a quiet spot to read. We would recommend to all. We loved it and appreciated Todd who greeted us when we arrived and Ron, the owner, who was available and helpful the whole week."

  • Superb!

"We rented this beautiful late nineteenth century property early in August and were very pleased with its central location and proximity to the beach. It has private, fenced up parking for two cars and a very nice large front porch for breakfast or late afternoon cocktail (although be forewarned: the streets are very clean for a reason! The cleaning equipment runs every morning at seven sharp. Not a big inconvenience but present.). The house is spacious, sleeps 13 easily and sits 10 very comfortably at the large dining table. 12 adults could fit but would bump elbows a little bit. Here again, not a big inconvenience. We had two extension boards and if there is a third one, then 12 adults could dine at ease. We advised the owner and may be he will supply one. The kitchen is very modern with all the latest amenities, a huge marble counter top and (I think) nine stools so that breakfast or lunch is easily taken there. There is a nice wine fridge/cellar. We were literally five minutes (add 30 seconds if the pedestrian signal is red...) walking distance from the beach (front door to beach chair) and that section of the beach seemed to be less crowded than either sides of where we were. The property has many beach chairs available to the tenants and a very much appreciated outdoors shower with hot and cold water and nicely enclosed for a private shower, not just rinsing sand off. We would certainly come back to this property."

  • Classic Beauty

"We had an extraordinary stay at this beautifully restored house. The 3 bedroom far exceeded our needs, but was a welcome surprise in comfort and space. The house is right in the center of the downtown area, and across from the beach. Just secluded enough but close to all. The property is meticulously maintained by the hand-on owners. Laura was a caring thoughtful proprietor. She provided wonderful recommendations for restaurants in the area. We experienced 2 of the wonderful options she recommended. If you were staying for an extended period of time, I believe you would be delighted and more than satisfied with all the amenities, especially in the 3 bedroom. We intend on returning, and staying for at least a week or two. Thank you Laura for being so accommodating and allowing us to stay in your lovely home. Linda and Steve"

"This was a fabulous house for us to stay in this summer. It had everything we needed and was very clean. Didn't know about the very windy stairs to the third floor bedrooms, but we worked it out. Our 5 1/2 year old navigated beautifully and the rest of us held the railing while coming down with the baby. Has a baby gate for the stairs, but i would bring 2 baby gates to keep a child contained downstairs. The owner is fabulous about being in touch and also giving event schedules for the time we were there. I would recommend it to anyone. 1 short block to the beach and then in the middle of the street. either beach would be fine. We could walk to town (if we had energy, but sometimes drove) Daughters and families walked or rode a bike. GREAT porch for people watching with a gate to keep youngsters in. Keep an eye on them, however, the 16 month figured out the lock to the gate fast."
