  • Wonderful Beach House with Great Hospitality!

"This beach house in the quiet south end of Ocean City is a fabulous place to stay! We had a girls weekend away and when we walked in we were thrilled to see a lovely, warm, clean, cozy and comfortable house to spend the weekend. The chilly, cloudy weather couldn't dampen our spirits in a beautiful house like this with everything you need to relax and enjoy yourself. Connie, the owner is absolutely delightful to work with! She is attentive to everything you need to ensure you enjoy yourself and are comfortable. She is a fantastic host. It was a lovely weekend and I highly recommend this property for a vacation getaway."

  • Top Notch!

"This summer was the second year in a row my family has rented this property and I can say without a doubt we will be back again next year. The deck is amazing. It is large enough to entertain the whole family and the sand area right on the one side makes a perfect place for kids to play day and night. The open floor plan is perfect for keeping the family together. The bedrooms are very spacious and comfortable. The location is wonderful. Not only does it have a private beach entrance right at the bottom of the deck stairs it is walking distance to a lovely playground as well as shopping and resturants. The owners are very attentive and responsive making the rental experience very pleasurable."

  • an early fall retreat

"we spent a glorious week at this beautiful property at the end of summer. the location is ideal for just about any fall adventure. we hiked the beach, walked the boardwalk, wandered into town and just lounged around on the the decks. the kitchen is stocked with every cooking item you might need and the view from the rooftop? spectacular. we could not have been happier with the rooms, the lovely decor and the comfort of a home away from home. as an added plus, the handicapped features and elevator made for a very comfortable and safe week for our elderly family members."

  • Great location, size and owner!!

"We have stayed in this unit for two weeks every year for the past four years. As you enter the house you will notice 2 BIG decks: one with a grill and a table right off the kitchen and a larger wrap-around porch with two tables and chairs and a third seating area. The kitchen is large with a big farm style table that easily seats 12. Next to the kitchen is a formal dining room with a table that seats 8 comfortably and invariably gets turned into an office or card playing table throughout the week. The living area is a little dark because of the unpainted wood details common to the age of the house. (I believe it was built in the early 1900's.) Both sets of stairs are solid and wide. The room at the top of the stairs has recently be redone with new furniture. (My mom says the bed is to die for. Next comes a beautifully renovated bathroom that pays homage to the era of the house...Bob replaced the wiring and left the antique light switches in place. The next room is my daughters own little oasis. The room is painted a dark green and has been coupled with white plantation style furniture. The master bedroom is beautiful with a king sized four poster bed and a reading alcove that is surrounded on three sides by windows. The view of the ocean from this point is very relaxing. It also has a HUGE walk-in closet. (I'm secretly crossing my fingers that it will one day be turned into a powder room for the master thereby making it into a master suite.) The top floor sports a bathroom that would make a spa feel jealous. IT has a large glass enclosed shower stall and a soaking, claw-foot tub. The next bedroom is compact and features a full sized bed. The final room is what we affectionately refer to the "grandkids room" even though we have yet to have any. It consists of two sets of bunk beds with a trendily under each allowing sleeping for 6. If you are vacationing with little ones and you end up with a rainy day, it's nice to be able to send them to the third floor so they won't disturb the downstairs neighbors. You would be hard pressed to find something this large in this area of the boardwalk. The last amenity that you can't put a price on is that this unit gets ALL of the parking spaces behind the house. We have parked 5 cars there a few times and four fits quite easily. Bob is a wonderful owner and tries to deal with any issues as soon as he hears of it.
