  • Quaint and Cozy

"This VRBO has everything you would want while staying in the Albuquerque area. We were traveling with friends and stayed a couple of days here. Enjoyed all the sites and had the best dinner at The Range Cafe just across the way from the house. This Casita is conveniently located and the owner a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend this VRBO to anyone traveling to the area."

  • Enchanting

"As with the other reviewers, my friends and I were absolutely in awe of the Hobbit House. It was like staying in a comfortable, inviting art gallery with all of your needs anticipated in advance. There are so many things to take in with the architecture and art that we spent some time just "touring" the house. It is also extremely well appointed and there was nothing we could think of that was not in the house, exactly where you would expect it to be. The location is the best I have had in Santa Fe; quiet yet everything you might want to visit is easily accessible. The owners are fantastic and I'm also a fan of not having the laundry list of things to do when leaving. We will definitely stay there again as soon as possible."

  • 3 Generations LOVED this Condo!

"We stayed at the Artist Retreat the week before Christmas. I was a little nervous sending payment before seeing the house, but the pictures are all accurate and it is even better in person! We have a vacation home in another state and I have to say the owners have certainly thought about everything you might need when staying in this home! In fact, I wished I could transport this home to our location I loved it so much! It was a terrific layout for multiple generations; the attached (lower level)apartment was great for our college kids and gave them some space and privacy and us a break when needed! Our parents had a room of their own and my husband and I took the master suite (Awesome!). The only regret was that the weather was not warmer so we could enjoy the patio off the master, but the views were terrific from upstairs and the outside patio with see thru fireplace was a wonderful treat for the outside. This fireplace really put off some heat inside and out, unlike some that are just for looks. The in-floor radiant heat was a wonderful way to heat the condo, I was worried that with all the windows it could be cold in the winter. Not so, in fact we never needed to adjust the heat! We cooked in all but one night and had everything we needed for meal prep, and ran to Trader Joes and Albertson's for food. The guidebook Sandra and Justin provided gave you all of the details needed, and walking into the plaza was a short walk (uphill partway on the way back) but very easy walk. I would love to return to this home in another season, and know you will enjoy! I would rent any of their properties when returning to Santa Fe!"

  • Fantastic!

"Three of us retired teachers rented Casa Sandia for a week and we were blown away by the wonderful accommodations. We spent so much time just enjoying the decor in the house. The location is ideal and the owner provided a notebook of instructions for the house and recommendations for things to do and restaurants to try. Her recommendations are top notch. We ate at restaurants for lunch and had leisurely dinners at the house. The photos do not do it justice. What a spectacular place to stay and get some respite from a cold Minnesota winter."
