Wonderful summer stay!
"We have stayed here five different summers with family and think it is the perfect place to get away and relax and enjoy the New Mexico mountains. The cabin is large and roomy with a very nice layout. The main kitchen is open and accessible to all as well as to a main porch which overlooks the beautiful valley below. We love the many bedrooms and bathrooms which allow for privacy for each couple/family, while allowing us time to be together and enjoy family time as well. We do lots of birding from the porches and in the area and recommend it highly for bird lovers! There are so many great things to do in the area--hikes, zip lines, jeeps, Vietnam memorial, and all the lures of Taos as well -- it couldn't really be much better! We love the fact that the cabin is secluded, affording lots of privacy. The porches are a huge plus for us because we love the views, the birds, and the family time there! A great place to go!
We have nothing but positive experiences with the maintenance and cleanliness of the property or with the responsiveness of the caretakers and owners. Everything has always been excellent. We do a lot of cooking at the cabin itself and appreciate the availability of cookware, dishes, etc., enough to serve a large group. We have enjoyed the theater room greatly over the years and always bring a good selection of DVD's!
We recommend this property to anyone looking for a wonderful spot for a vacation."

"We spent a week hiking, relaxing and cooling off at this great cabin. Thank you for sharing your home with us! What a great, comfortable place to stay. Very easy to reach from the heart of town, yet a regular highway of wildlife traffic passing through daily. We saw deer, elk and even a bear pass through right off the front door. A momma deer even walked over and licked my wifes hand as she stood at the edge of the deck. In our 6 years of visiting Angel Fire that is now her favorite moment from all of our trips. We were able to take daily hikes right from the cabin and I highly recommend walking Vail Loop Rd that starts right across the street in the evening to look for wildlife and to see some beautiful sunsets. Thanks again!"

"My famly of five really enjoyed this place
As others noted, after a day of skiing the steps were annoying, but we got used to it
I'd like to clarify that this place is not really "ski-in ski out" but there is a convenient parking area near the place with room for about 10-12 cars. You do need to get there early, but it is *much* better than parking at the base
We would stay here again"

"We enjoyed our stay so much & everything that we could of wanted was in the condo. The owner's were so
wonderful to work with & we cannot say enough nice things about them. We will stay with them again, when
returning back to Angel Fire. The snow was more than enough & we had a great time skiing. Angel Fire is
such a great place to visit & everyone was so nice & helpful."
