"We went to Angel Fire, NM and stayed in the Soaring Eagle Lodge Ski in Ski out home and it was GREAT! We had 2 families with 9 people and had plenty of room. The house was clean with comfy beds and has a beautiful view with a nice hot tub. We had nearby restaurants/shops at the base of the mountain but opted to cook meals most nights with their accommodating kitchen. We brought/bought food and it was as if we were home. We were able to reserve/pay online and it was quick and easy but you better think ahead if you want a ski in/ski out because they go fast! The only thing that was a little difficult was the steep driveway that became muddy. You MUST have a 4x4 to go there during the winter or you won't make it up the hill. We did fine in our 4x4 trucks. There is also an uphill climb of about 50 yards before you get to the slopes but it was well worth it. Who doesn't need the exercise anyway? We had a great time and would definately recommend you rent this place..........or we just might take it again! :)"

"Been coming out here for years. Well LOVE Angel Fire so much that this summer we bought land out here. We now have much more exclusive access to the resort. I look forward for months in advance to coming out to Angel Fire and I'm always planning my next trip on the way home. Lastly we caught 8 trout this trip in Monte Verde Lake."

"We enjoyed our stay in Angel Fire & this Mt. Pines condo. We were able to back in for an easy unload, and parking was close by. This condo is on the 2nd floor, so you have a flight of stairs, but it was nice not having anyone above you.
There was a shuttle pickup very close by, and we never had to wait long to be picked up. Be prepared though, there is a charge of $1/person, coming & going. This has nothing to do with the condo...just a personal comment, as we & other skiers were not prepared.
The condo was well stocked. We found everything we needed in the kitchen, and there were plenty of blankets & pillows.
The Queen beds were very comfortable, but we have older kids: 17-24, so the bunk beds in the 3rd bedroom were a little small, so my boys took turns on the couch, and my two nieces took turns on the day bed.
The owner was very responsive, as we had a few inquiries when we arrived, which we very much appreciated.
Overall, a good place to stay in Angel Fire."

"Wow, this was truly an amazing vacation! We had two families, with a total of 7 people and it was perfect. We travelled to Angel Fire for Spring Break and cannot wait to get back. Upon arrival, we were blown away with the views, the gorgeous snowfall, and the fantastic home. Not once did we have a problem with the house. Ok, that's not true, we did get stuck once in a snow bank alongside the driveway. (Dang Texans don't know how to drive in ice and snow.) The kids had Wifi withdrawal, but the parents were in heaven! We saw large deer and other fun wildlife during our stay. The grocery store nearby had all the items we needed for our week stay, albeit a tad pricey, but we expected it in a ski resort town. Angel Fire Ski Resort was amazing as well. So much less expensive than Colorado ski resorts. We highly recommend the children's ski school. We will definitely plan a return trip, and hope to stay at the same home!! Thanks so much!!"
