"My wife and I reserved this cabin (lodge?) for our son and his new bride for their short honeymoon. They report that it could not have been a better fit for them. Nice drive to Taos. Very quiet environment. I made a special request for a bit of snow while they were there. Woke up one morning and had about 3" on the ground. House was clean and very well furnished and equipped. They would like to go back sometime -- and my wife and I hope to go sometime in the summer. The owner could not have been nicer or any easier to deal with. (He pointed out that a truck stop en route had a nice collection of mostly 50's restored cars. Having owned a '57 Chevy for a short time, our son couldn't have been happier about a rest stop.) Highly recommended."Guest: swtrader Date of Stay: October 2013 Review Submitted: October 29, 2013View listing
"My extended family had a great time! The common areas are very comfortable and the basement is a perfect hangout for teenagers. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of cooking utensils and a nice bar area for extra seating. Owner easily accessible when we had questions."Guest: Kris F. "We spent 2 weeks in Randy, Jamie, Millie, Otis, Lucy and " Lil Red" home and had a wonderful relaxing vacation. They are so correct on the million dollar views. The deck was our favorite place to have coffee and take in that view. Monte Verde Lake which is just a little ways form the home is a great place to fish. My husband caught a rainbow trout there. The lake has a hiking trail around it about a mile long and also their are several other hiking trails that start out within the resort we did some of those for a little exercise and fresh air. The home is also a great place to take your dogs with the easy of the doggie door, fenced in yard and the relaxing deck for them to enjoy the outdoors it makes a great place for dogs to vacation too. We thank you all for allow us to borrow your peace of heaven for a few week.
