  • Great Girls Weekend!

"This house was the perfect house for our girl's weekend! We had 10 girls staying in the main house and everyone had enough room to spread out and not be right on top of each other. The house is amazing for entertaining, especially the kitchen! The walk into town was the perfect distance and the weather couldn't have been better for January in Santa Fe. Thank you so much for making our trip an incredible one that we will always remember."

  • A little bit of heaven

"What a perfect venue and so representative of Santa Fe! The home is so beautiful, warm, and comfortable; I absolutely loved the detail that went in to the decorating. We love art and this home was filled with beautiful pieces to admire. The outdoor decks were also so very inviting and comfortable and the neighborhood is a good one! One thing you don't need, a car! It was walking distance to all the restaurants and shops we wanted to see. I can't wait to return!"

  • The Perfect House for a Stay in Santa Fe

"Our family of 8 representing 3 generations stayed at Casa de Cielo y Sol over the Christmas holiday this year. It's a perfect location, private and quiet in a peaceful and scenic setting but only a few minutes form the hart of Santa Fe. The house couldn't be more welcoming, clean, comfortable, well-stocked and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is amazing - definitely designed by someone who enjoys cooking. We made a number of wonderful meals in the incredibly well appointed kitchen with lovely views. We didn't lack for anything. I would love to stay here again if the opportunity arises and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Santa Fe. I'm originally from Santa Fe and can say without hesitation that this house represents the best of what homes in Santa Fe have to offer both inside and out. The owners were great to work with and super responsive to any questions we had."

  • Frank and Faye - Japan

"When you look at the photo for NNMG you can't even imagine the loveliness, tranquility and serenity behind this wonderful B&B pic until you are there. It was a beautiful stay like no other. We have family in the area and was seeking out a place that would feel comfortable (but don't make that your excuse to come to Truchas!). We lived in NM for many years and so sad that it was a place not visited before outside of Santa Fe and Taos. Lorey's NNMG was so special it is hard to put into words. I felt like I had come home. Lorey took care to ensure that we were accommodated in every way starting with making the reservation, to the welcome bottle of wine. Each morning like clockwork there was robust coffee, teas and hot fresh muffins with every amenity (jams, butter and honey) with fresh yogurt and fruit, to a gracious goodnight greeting with everything in between from the day! Was lucky enough that Lorey shared her homegrown tomatoes and lettuce from her greenhouse! It is priceless how well you will sleep with freshness all around. The rooms and bathrooms are so comfy and spotless (thick comforters, tastefully decorated rooms with candles and fresh flowers.) If you want to stay connected, wireless internet and cable). It is one place when travelling your cell phone works. If you choose to not be connected, there is a library with many books, a cozy fireplace and woodstove to stay warm and very private, and a property to walk your cares away. If information is needed, she provides it and will give you insight. If quiet and respite is what you want, you'll never hear a peep. The town of Truchas and the people there are very friendly too so don't miss visiting the shops and galleries to find treasures from their creative hands to take with you. Just a quick walk away. There are just too many things to list. I can guarantee you will leave but truly never do so since this place and its owner, Lorey (and also our furry friends Luxy and Loo Loo) will stay in your mind and heart. We will be back for sure and know that when we return, we will be remembered and this place will not be forgotten. Safe travels!"
