"This was our second spring break in Taos and at Introvert Heaven. We have 4 kids and 2 dogs so it was great to spread out after a long day of skiing. The house is perfectly situated between the ski valley and Taos. We had family rent out the west wing which made the stay even more special. At night, the kids hung on the west side while the adults had happy hour on the other. We had everything we needed at the house so we were able to eat in on nights that we were too tired to go out. Our dogs loved the fields and the porch. The hot tub was really relaxing and the stars were amazing. I hope to make Taos and Introvert Heaven a yearly vacation."

"Had a great stay at the chalet.
The pictures really don't do it justice. My group had two chefs in it, and they raved about the kitchen. So nice to be able to have a meal as a group and watch the snow falling on the mountain.
The living room is spacious and comfortable - we could all hang out there and "visit". We were there over Super Bowl weekend and the set up was perfect to watch the game.
Location is ski on/off, located right next to a trail, and this is not common for Taos. Really a great experience and I would highly recommend it for people looking for a great place to stay in the ski valley. We were lucky to be on the mountain as Taos was hit with 14 inches of snow while we were there. Had we stayed in the town of Taos we may not have made it up to the mountain!"

"We rented the house for Holy Week - this was "home base" for several family members from around the country. A total of 13 adults and teens stayed at the home. We gathered for a Good Friday pilgrimage from Nambe to Chimayo - we had such an amazing time! The house was absolutely perfect - central, walkable location to Santa Fe attractions (Loretto Chapel, Main Plaza, etc.) - it was incredibly well-stocked (dishes, pots/pans, towels, linens, bath robes, appliances, etc. - every amenity you could need) in fact we cooked almost all of our meals at home. We had a ton of gathering space for visiting with family (two large porches, living room, large dining table) and a lovely hot tub (didn't get a chance to use). I can't say enough nice things about Kristen - the owner/manager. She was SO EASY to work with and she provided a ton of information prior to our trip including tips on restaurants, sight-seeing - even tips on avoiding altitude sickness!! If you want the authentic "Santa Fe" experience of a neat historic home, walkable attractions/shopping, SUPER comfortable beds/bedding, beautifully decorated, SUPER clean with tons of space for all, then this is the place for you - look no further! I will leave you with three tips on the home: (1) parking is at a premium in Santa Fe - the house can fit up to 3 cars (in a row) - we only have one side of the carport (we had 2 Ford Expeditions and 1 Toyota SUV - they fit just fine); (2) the downstairs den is awesome - we set it up with the 6 twin beds - super comfy and great hangout space for teens BUT the staircase is steep and narrow - this is not for frail elderly or unsupervised small children - we didn't have an issue - our elderly family stayed upstairs and we do not have small children; (3) extra family stayed directly across the street at Four Kachinas B&B -also super nice and a great rate - just FYI if you have a large party of over 14 people (i think the Capitol Casa house guest max is 14). I would definitely return to Capitol Casa for our next Santa Fe adventure!"

"WE really did enjoy our stay at this house. It was well furnished in most cases. The toaster needs to be repaired or a new one. The frig had to be replaced the first night. I agree with the other reviewers. There is no privacy in the master bedroom. There weren't even blinds to close on the door to the patio from the bedroom. The lights were so dim we had to get some bigger bulbs. It was very clean and the manager took care of the needs we mentioned to her. The privacy issue was our main complaint. We would probably not go back there again. The light in the small bedroom shower is out and the one in the master downstairs was off and on. There is a place in the wood floor in the kitchen in need of repair. One of our group walked with a cane and nearly tripped over it."
