  • Wonderful casita!

"My daughter, dog and I had a great time in this beautiful and very comfortable casita. It is situated about halfway between the ski area and town...perfect! We skiied three days while our dog enjoyed the large fenced-in yard (there is also a covered porch area if it rains). We mostly cooked our meals in the very well-stocked kitchen. On the fourth day we took our dog to explore the nearby (can walk to it) hiking trail that goes down to a creek in the valley. The charming village of Arroyo Seco has several nice shops and a couple of restaurants (or just a short drive to Taos for many more options). The sunset view from the casita is stunning! You can tell an artist designed and decorated this sweet place. We will be back!"

  • We had a great stay!

"This was the perfect home for my family of two adults and three young children. It is large and clean, well located between the ski valley and town, and offers access to a large pool and small heated "kiddie" pool, both of which we took advantage of during our summer stay. The only thing that would have made our stay better was air conditioning in the house or at least another swamp cooler for downstairs use (it got uncomfortably hot during one week of our stay). If you are serious about cooking during your stay (as we were), I would recommend bringing your own sharp knives and pots and pans--but that's just us and we would probably do that anywhere we stayed. The kitchen certainly had sufficient basics otherwise, and plenty of nice dishware, etc. Overall, a wonderful stay in a great home."

  • Wonderful Vacation Home with Fabulous Views

"The location of this house blew us away. The setting is exceptional in the beautiful foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. The expansive views from the patio and the large picture windows in the living room, dining room and den are truly breathtaking - a pleasure to wake up to each day and enjoy while having morning coffee. We found the house to be very comfortable with its open layout and it was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. All the appliances are modern and clean and the gas barbeque, washer and dryer are brand new. To say there is so much to see and do in the area is an understatement. Santa Fe is only a 10 minute drive from the house and is full of unique museums, wonderful cafes and restaurants, historic buildings, interesting shops and art galleries. The plaza is always lively with buskers and vendors selling native artwork. Venture a little further and you can explore many amazing pueblo ruins, cliff dwellings, an historical ranch, a ghost town, picturesque villages, a super caldera and wonderful hiking trails. We attended a Feast Day at a local Pueblo and had the privilege to observe sacred dances. The house is centrally located to all the attractions in the area and it was lovely to return to this beautiful and tranquil property at the end of each day."

  • Warm, beautifully decorated, fully equipped, spectacular location

"I'd been on a road trip for 2 1/2 months, staying at various VRBO and Airbnb homes all across the country, and this home was the VERY BEST place I stayed! Chris was so easy to communicate with. The home had everything we needed for our week long stay. Chris had many tips about what sites to visit during our trip. My two dogs were welcomed and there are great walks nearby that are dog friendly. The beds and linens are very comfortable, the home is quiet, and there are beautiful fireplaces for those chilly evenings. This is clearly a well loved home that the hosts regularly use themselves, which makes it a privilege to stay there. Thank you, Chris!"
