"Our expectations were exceeded by this Casita!!! Staying at this Casita was extremely pleasant and made our vacation much more memorable and satisfying. Charming, very comfortable and fantastic location! Very clean and so quiet. The amenities of the house were far more than adequate, and the personal touches really added to the charm! The artwork and books really gave us a sense of the location. To sit in the patios was much needed relief from city living!!!!! With the Mesilla Plaza so close to the doorstep, this house makes for a wonderful getaway! Restaurants, entertainment, gift shops, etc., are right down the street!
We came for a family reunion in Las Cruces and as the families visited the Mesilla Plaza, they would ask where we were staying. I would point down the street and say, "See that car down there..". They couldn't believe it! My parents remarked as to how authentic and beautiful the house was, as well as the neighborhood. Tamra made the process very easy and made it a pleasure arranging our stay. No problems whatsoever! We shall return!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"Upon arriving, I hadn't really read the email I received from property manager Heather; I was relying on the text from HomeAway/VRBO for the code into the home...read the email, VRBO wasn't UTD, and the code they listed wasn't accurate. Once in, the home was fantastic. The kitchen is fantastic (could use updated utensils/cooking items, but manageable), and the décor of the home is elegant. The bedrooms and bathrooms are fantastic. we a few extra in our group, than bedrooms allotted, but that was easily accomadated by an air mattress in the "den" area. Realistically, if the management wanted, they could easily make the WIC upstairs into bedrooms, they are larger than some hotel rooms I've stayed in. The patio/yard was really very enjoyable; trees surrounding the area made for very quiet peaceful surroundings to enjoy morning coffee and evening conversation. During our stay, the cable seemed to be "out"; although "on" it was the channels that show up when you haven't paid the bill (we have Dish at home); no news channels or entertainment channels, just infomercials one food channel and international home hunters; fortunately there are Red Boxes close by.
Overall, our experience was fantastic, and the one issue we did have, was resolved satisfactorily. Would absolutely stay here again."

"My husband and I and two of our children headed to Taos for some Spring Break skiing. We stayed in this lovely condo. It is outfitted beautifully and had so many added touches that made our 5 night stay just perfect. We arrived at night after a long drive and just said "ahhhh" when we walked into the condo. The family room was so comfy and the kitchen was outfitted so well. The wine, milk, chocolates and coffee that were there for us was a nice added touch. The location of the condo couldn't be better in relation to Taos Plaza and the main street for groceries or anything else that was needed. The notebook left with information was very thorough and so helpful. If our travels take us back to Taos, we will definitely stay here again!!"

"My husband and I came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary (and to get away from it all) and it was the perfect place. The vistas, the solitude, and the comforts of the casita made our stay comfy and enjoyable. We made full use of the amenities--kitchen, fire pit, and hot tub--and one of our friends fished down at the lake and actually caught some fish! The stars are bright at night--we could see the Milky Way. The drive there, although bumpy, was doable in a car with a v-6 engine (we didn't have a 4WD). Mornings were spent sipping coffee and watching bunnies nibble on desert grass around the house. The beds were comfortable and the silence was supreme. We can't wait to be back here again and recommend this place to anyone seeking a beautiful getaway."
