  • Great family getaway!

"Perfect place! Felt more like home than a rental. My family really enjoyed the trip and the house was perfect for us. The location is great and very comfortable. Will definitely return!!!"

  • Amazing Mountain Getaway

"My husband and I stayed at Elk Hollow from July 3-7. It exceeded our expectations in every way! The home itself is beautifully furnished and includes everything you could want for your stay. As beautiful and comfortable as the home is, it was the extra thoughtful touches of the owners that set this home apart, from the birdseed to feed the birds to the multiple page information letter that let us know everything we need to know about the home to warning us that we needed to stock up on groceries in Artesia to the restaurant recommendations. We especially loved the wrap around balcony porch with views looking down the valley and out across to the mountains. We didn't explore the Cloudcroft area as much as we might have because we were so content just relaxing on the porch. I highly recommend Elk Hollow!"

  • Great Trip to Angel Fire

"Our family really enjoyed our stay in Angel Fire. The home is beautiful and handles a large number of people very well. We especially enjoyed the game room being separate from the main room. Each of these rooms has nice large televisions with Direct TV and DVD players allowing us to separate the "gamers" when necessary. One thing you should be aware of when renting this property, even though it does have 5 bedrooms, one of the bedrooms is only accessible by walking through one of the other bedrooms. This limits privacy for these 2 bedrooms. The driveway is steep as mentioned, if there is snow on the ground it will require 4WD or chains. The view is beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay."

  • Clean, modern, attractive, excellent location -- a great value overall

"I stayed here for 5 nights in early May with a group of 6 women, and it was ideal for us. Plenty of space in every way -- bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, dining -- and so clean and comfortable as to satisfy even the pickiest people in our group. When you look at the price of hotel rooms in downtown Santa Fe, this place is an amazing bargain. We walked downtown for several dinners (Cafe Pasqual's and La Casa Sena were two favorites) and drove to the top of Canyon Road for an evening at El Farol. We also really enjoyed the Tesuque flea market, hiking at Bandelier and Tsankawi Mesa, and exploring the many museums and art galleries downtown. The shopping was world-class! Santa Fe is one of my favorite vacation destinations, and I have stayed out at the Bishop's Lodge resort, downtown at a B&B, and downtown at La Posada in the past. For a group trip, if you want great access to downtown and enjoy a little walking, this house is the best option by far."
