  • Look no further...

"This was our first experience renting a home for a vacation... We have 2 kids that have special needs, allergies and sensitivities. It is a tricky proposition to travel to unknown places! Ted was so patient while disclosing information about his home - everything from where his water comes from to the fabric content of his sheets, cleaning products used, available sources for food that would accommodate our needs... Of course we were thrilled at the beautiful photos but what they don't show is the level of attention given to the home's upkeep. It is clean and so easy to be in! The views are simply spectacular... The spaces are open, free of clutter and so peaceful inside and out it is tough to get motivated to leave! The layout of the home is great - 2 bedrooms for the kids on one side of the home with corresponding bathrooms, the master bedroom on the other. Ted is funny and helpful and was available during our stay via phone if we needed something. Every accommodation for comfort has been accounted for. As you might have noticed from other reviews, there is an elderly dog named Seltzer that lives there. He is super cool - always sweet and good! We were concerned about allergy issues for our kids, but had absolutely none - he stays outside and was a wonderful part of our experience. The drive into town (Sandia Crest, Albuquerque and Santa Fe were easy and scenic. At the end of a long day it was an amazing treat to head back to this peaceful and beautifully maintained getaway. We are grateful for the chance to have stayed here and will look forward to doing it again!!!! Look no further - you have just found paradise in New Mexico!"

  • Authentic Taos Experience

"This Taos Adobe home is the authentic choice for a lifetime Taos adventure and memory trip! We planned a trip to sink into Taos just as the locals do, with very little tourist time, and sacks full of everything unplugged. This home was our Adobe perfection! Filled with antique touches, taste, a history filled grace and love for the landscape, both inside and out. Aiello Road has a tucked away kind of quiet feel...you would not know you were just a few miles from the center of town. Our week long stay allowed us to cook most nights on the pinion fire and we shared the courtyard with mugs of spice tea and numerous hummingbird friends. Great spots for warm conversations and for these Texans...an appreciation of the cool New Mexico summers. We did not want to leave, this home left an impression on us and we will be back soon to visit our new found friend. Thank you, thank you Melissa for sharing your home and your passions."

  • What a view!

"The house was just as described. The view as magnificent. The bird viewing in the areas was more than I could have hoped. The house was great for our couple retreat. We hiked many different vistas in the area, just foot steps from the house. The owner Pat was very pleasant. She provides a lot of information for activities in the local area. This was great because it rained and we had to change our plans from the very demanding hikes planned to some easier treks. Please take your own hair dry as one is not provided, but all in all worth booking."

  • Super Retreat Spot with Multiple Options

"There were three of us: two old artist friends and graphic designer daughter who holed up in the casita for working time. The casa is convenient for daily living, gorgeous garden space complete with fountain and enlivened with pleasures from flora and fauna. Plus the outdoor setup with table, chairs, umbrella make breakfast outside more than inviting if one did not choose to go to the great coffee place, Downtown Subscription on Garcia, a few minutes ride or morning walk. The interior accoutrements are tasteful and comfortable. Canyon Road beckons, entices and is foot steps away. Driving to experience the pleasures of the Plaza and museums, plus Museum Hill is accessible. The whole month was one joy added to another. A repeat would be in order."
