"Holly was an awesome host we enjoyed spending the weekend with our family on their beautiful property! The guest house was VERY CLEAN and had more then enough room for our family of 6. ( 4 adults 2 children) It had everything you can imagine, home away from home definitely coming back!
The pool was UNBELIEVABLE! So very inviting, warm, and crystal clear! Over all this property is definitely one of a kind! I strongly recommend this retreat!"

"I stayed here with my daughter and daughter in law for a weekend getaway. Such a darling casita in a fabulous location. Sarita is a dear and made the stay even better. The winery next door is great and the cafe just next door is outstanding. The setting is sublime and the ambiance was perfect."

We are so grateful to you for sharing your beautiful home with us this past week. We had an incredible trip and your casa on the Rio Grande was at the center of it. Thank you for your kindness and your wonderful spirit which infuses this place. Until next year (paleeze!)
With great affection,
Your guys from Oklahoma!
P.S. All your recommendations were spot on. We especially enjoyed Plaza Blanca and even toured the mosque.

"I spent two weeks at the guest house and the property, as well as the town of Dixon, has hooked me for life. The guest house is nestled on a large lot amidst the hills of northern New Mexico with a rolling creek immediately off the back deck. The sound of the water and gorgeous scenery beyond are nourishing to the soul. This late October and early November revealed brilliant autumn colors in every direction, making the experience even more memorable. The guest house, while seemingly small and simple in the photos, lives large and is well laid out for comfortable dining, lounging and sleeping. Great for one or two people on retreat. The town of Dixon is rich in New Mexican history and is teeming with friendly people, art, a suprisingly well-stocked grocery and an outstanding local cafe. Just a little further away are more activities at the Rio Grande Gorge, Taos and Santa Fe. The hosts are very personable, knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with, while being respectful of your privacy. I can highly recommend this property to anyone needing to get away from the big city to unwind, reconnect with nature or be close to the action without being right in the middle of it. This was a memorable getaway and I look forward to returning time and again."
