"It is difficult to explain the beauty and serenity of Vista de Lago. It was a perfect spot for relaxation and time with family. Sitting on the porch over looking lake Abiquiu Lake was a morning and evening treat! The accommodations were just as promised, beautiful and clean. We did spend a day site seeing, but returned to Vista de Lago and did not feel the need to leave again. Thank you for a memorable vacation."

"We had a lovely time at this charming casita. The set up couldn't be better and the location is fantastic. The artwork in the rooms is lovely, and it's located on historic Ledoux Street near lots of great galleries and restaurants. Eric and Shaun were gracious and helpful and had great recommendations for things to do and a short hike to take. We will definitely be back."

"I hesitated to write a review because I want to keep this gem all to myself! The moment we walked in, I wished we could buy it ... just a lovely little condo with everything that you need in the middle of a sweet community with gorgeous walking trails through the hills and a bonus dog park set up in a converted tennis court area. We will definitely go back."

"What a wonderful place to stay in the mountains. You are literally at the tree tops with beautiful views all around. Loved the wrap-around deck and comfortable outside furniture. Such a beautiful cabin, yet it has such an "at-home" feel inside. The owners thought of everything that you would need. The Texas Treehouse has just the right amount of space for our family...plenty of beds...but cozy. The short distance to town is very convenient. We love staying at a somewhat secluded place, but like to be able to drive into town to eat or shop. We appreciate being able to stay in this perfect home. We will be back! Just one minor detail, we couldn't get the DVD player to work in the loft. No big deal, but we just wanted to watch a movie one night. Otherwise, I would say we may never stay anywhere else in Ruidoso if the Texas Treehouse is available."
