"My friends and I travel quite a bit, and after having said that you can imagine that we as a group have rented many places. Now, out of all of the places we rented, this has to be among the best. It was roomy, it looked great, the house was well kept and beautifully decorated in keeping with the mountain scheme, there was more than plenty of room, it was secluded just enough that you had privacy, yet not so much that you felt you were in the beginnings of a horror movie, and the stars, wow you could see the nighttime sky perfectly just by stepping off the front porch. Now, on the subject of angel fire and other such resorts near there. what can i say, its less then a ten minute drive to get to the base of the angel fire mountain, and on top of that you don't even have to go to angel fire, you can go right by the turn off and you will be led to all of the other resorts simply by just following the road (albeit there is a turn of here and there, and it takes longer than ten minutes to reach them.) that leads past the resorts. I was most certainly pleased with our stay and i would love to visit again."

"This was our second visit to Casita Perdito - can't beat the view!! It is comfortable, very quiet and very private. The owners are next door but never bother you but are always easily contacted if you need something - including access to the hot tub! I have to admit we spend most of our time on the porch--this year they added a small outdoor table so we even ate all our meals 'el fresco' looking out at the most beautiful view of the mountains you can imagine. The location is also an easy drive into town where there are all the amenities and good restaurants. It is also very convenient to the mountains and various hiking trails. We love this place. We'll be back!"

"I stayed at the Custom Retreat Cottage for one month while working in Silver City. It was a challenge to find a good place that allowed a (well-behaved) dog - this place was great! Very clean throughout with comfortable bed and furniture, compact kitchen with everything needed to cook meals, even nice, sharp knives - a rarity with VRBO rentals. The central heat worked instantly for chilly mornings. Good water pressure in shower. Lots of storage, closet space. Off street parking was nice. Full size washer and dryer in separate new structure right outside. The location is good - not in the historic neighborhood, but close to it and to everything else, 4 block walk up to a bit of open space for the dog, very close to the hospital for work. The back yard is fenced only on 3 sides and does not have grass - currently packed dirt, but worked fine for pre-dog walk and quick lunch time outings for my dog. This place was very nice to come home to and only a 10 minute drive to great hiking (Gomez Peak area at end of Little Walnut Road) in Gila National Forest. The owners were great - very flexible with change of dates I needed to make, easy check in and prompt return of deposit. I would most certainly stay here again!!!"

"Our group consisted of 5 dads and each of our 15 year old sons for a father/son ski trip. The house was perfect for this group with four bedrooms and plenty of beds, nice well equipped kitchen and ski-in ski-out ability. The location of the house made it easy for those that wanted to hit the slopes early, come back for lunch or finish early without having to coordinate with others in the group. The owners were very hospitable during our stay and even helped when one of our group's SUV got stuck the last day. The group enjoyed the hot tub after a day of skiing and the boys were excited about the bon fire pit but were too tired each night to get a fire going. Over all this place was a great fit for our group and would be for any large family, several couples or large group of guys or gals just looking for an easy time on the slopes."
