"My husband and I and our daughter, her husband and two children (6 and 8) spent an enjoyable 6 days at the townhouse. The location is great, and the house is clean, nicely decorated, and very well equipped."

"This home was the perfect retreat for my husband and I for our romantic New Mexico getaway!
Situated in the desert neighborhood of Eldorado just south of Santa Fe, this home was so peacefully quiet and beautiful inside and out.
From the moment we entered the home we felt at peace, the "namaste" feel to it suited us perfectly!
The inside was beautiful and bright with skylights in all the right places. The viga ceilings were amazing! Lots of windows and ceiling fans. The kitchen had everything needed for a dinner in or just a snack. The washer and dryer came in handy for doing up all our laundry while relaxing on the patio on our last day, saving a day of laundry at home.
The outside patio area had perfect views of the desert and mountains.
By day we enjoyed watching the cottontail rabbits hopping about as well as listening to and viewing the birdlife, which included hummingbirds.
In the evening we enjoyed beautiful sunsets over the mountains while listening to yipping coyotes in the distance.
Once darkness fell, the view of the stars and milky way was amazing! Eldorado has a low light policy so as not to create light pollution to detract from the star gazing - perfect!
We even had the opportunity to watch some distant thunder storms and enjoy the lightening shows!
The home was located just south and very close to Santa Fe, but also an easy drive to Albuquerque, Taos, Bandelier, Tent Rocks and many other popular areas.
Just minutes away in Eldorado's little village was a grocery store and gas station among many other conveniences.
We would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the north central area of New Mexico. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat after busy day of sightseeing, then this is the perfect balance. We loved it!"

"The Casita is a perfect base for exploring this region, from walking to historic Old Mesilla to driving up to Dripping Springs and the Organ Mountains. The Casita itself is a gem - comfortable and extraordinarily authentic, with every convenience, as well as a lovely enclosed patio in the rear and the marvelous front porch. The furnishings were wonderful, the artwork fascinating, and the architecture and history very interesting. Tamra is a great hostess, and can't thank her enough for the hospitality. If we have the opportunity to return, we will certainly check availability!"

"I am very late in writing this review, but as I was looking at VRBO again I realized I did not share our awesome stay over the New Year's holiday. This home is AMAZING - the views are spectacular, the furnishings are unbelievable and the kitchen had better pots than I have at home. It's super close to the ski lift, very easy to get to and was the best possible venue to ring in our new year. We traveled with our parents and 4 kids, and everyone was comfortable!! I highly recommend and hope to visit again."
