"It's hard to describe how wonderful this location was! Staying here, you are 5-10 minutes drive from Old Town and all the museums (Natural History, Turquoise, Rattlesnake, Albuquerque Museum, Explora, etc.), 2 wineries, at least 3 breweries, The Pueblo cultural center, the Biopark aquarium, zoo and botanical gardens, Uptown's upscale shopping and dining, the Rio Grande Nature Center and so much more! We rarely got on the freeway during the month we stayed. The home is lovingly decorated including the owners own artwork and everything we needed was there. The king sized bed was super comfortable and we loved having the convenience of a full-sized washer and dryer. Quiet and comfortable. Enjoyed watching Netflix and the DVD's provided well as the retro TV series on the regular TV channels. The owners are lovely, talented people who cared deeply that our stay was amazing. We would definitely go back and would recommend this home to a friend without hesitation."

"We have enjoyed the Elkhouse for the past three years and have never been disappointed. The price is right, the house is cozy, and the kids love the loft! Dealing with Louise makes planning our trip easy, and we look forward to skiing Angel Fire annually. We also enjoy the sledding hill and the quiet atmosphere in the neighborhood."

"We loved the condo amenities and location. Janice was quick to call us for the reservation and even brought us coffee and creamer for our first morning since we arrived late. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, etc. the washer and dryer was a nice bonus. Large flat screen TV with nice sitting area. The kiva fireplace in the bedroom is wonderful! Only recommendation, turn in the baseboard heat right away as it was a little cold the first night (we could have started a fire but we were too tired). Thank you Janice for a fabulous experience! PS we brought our two small dogs and there are nice areas to walk close by!"

"We have stayed at this cabin twice in two years. It is clean, stocked and very comfortable...possibly the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in away from home. The only advice I can give is in hot weather to start the AC early of the morning. The AC will maintain a cool temperature but has difficulty cooling the space once it has become hot. Otherwise great. We will be renting there every chance we get."
